Most of the main characters on that thread know each other outside of this forum. That was a troll thread and some of you guys just fed the trolls. You can either ignore it and move to the next thread, or move on to the next forum. Either way, enjoy your egg and enjoy your life. After all, it's just the Internet!

I don't understand people getting so wrapped around the axle about one or two threads.  It's not everyone's thing, I get that.  Also not the way this forum usually is, it's like a big collective sigh - everyone blowing off some steam at the same time.

to nobody in particular, 1) don't look at that thread, you don't have to, 2) at any time of day, check the main page and you'll see tons of amazing cooks being posted, people helping each other and some genuine appreciation and camaraderie.  One thread doesn't define a forum or its members.

Post a question and see if it doesn't get answered.  The other thread doesn't bother me.  Not sure why others have their draws in a wad about it.

There were a few posts last night/this morning that had me throw up a bit in my mouth, but my scroll button still worked and I wasn't forced to go look at it in the first place.

There are p0rn sites, political sites, social media sites, weird gif sites, etc out there for those interested without having to include them on this forum.  Yes, there is a freedom of speech, but there's also something called "decency" which should be respected in case there are any of our youngin's or other family members on the BIG GREEN EGG forum lurking, seeing what we are up to -- bbq related.  Behave yourselves people!    LOL.  Keep the smack talk, nekkid people gifs, and other "adult" stuff elsewhere.  If you wanna show R-rated stuff, there is an OT tab or *gasp* other websites.     Be gentlemen and gentlewomen.

What I hate are shots of tequila that cost $8 each at a restaurant.  But they taste so good.   But she won't let me buY a  $50 patron bottle for home.

Problem is every time I open up a bottle of Patron I wake up and it is empty.

So far I have always woken up.  Usually in the same city too.

I had a nightmare one time that I had woke up in L.A. and didn't know how I got there.  I was terrified, no money, and no idea how to get to the airport.  Then I woke up from the nightmare and discovered I was still at home in my comfortable bed.  Whew!

I see the thread, I just ignore it. Like others I stopped reading about 2K comments ago. I know this is a moderated site, anyway that that whole thread can be deleted? If not OK, I will continue to ignore it. What I have always liked about this site was the absence of that garbage...now it is here. But again, I can easily ignore it and not click on the link.

Let's put this into real-time perspective. Thread in question is relatively new. I'm not in agreement with parts of it and some quite offensive to me. However, that being said I've participated like many and hopefully didn't offend as it wasn't my personal intention. Does this single solitary thread describe the entire forum? Absolutely not. How many times have members (even ones that many have offended on the devastated thread) helped, answered questions or even offered one on one help. How many times have members (just because) sent gifts (scooby) to other members they don't know other than here. I could go on & on.

I really think at this point people are just testing to see how far they can take it before it is removed.  I am sure it will be removed at some point.  I agree that you can simply ignore it, but not everyone visits here daily or even weekly so they might not be aware what they are in for so I think it should get removed. I'm sure BGE doesn't want these images associated with their brand.  

Many people visit the forum before purchasing an egg.  If the first thing they see is naked trannys jumping rope they might be inclined to get a Kamado Joe instead
