Well it is debatable the area is in any state. Kind of the middle of nowhere. My brother in law has a cabin near Gary. Looking forward to seeing them both. We go burn a few steaks on Saturday...and have a few beverages.

@NPHuskerFL That chicken looks wonderful. Is the bird sitting on the CI or on a bed of onions or something?

@kl8ton Ate the fingerlings whole and used the rendered juices of chicken, garlic, onions and herbs for a quick gravy.

My son ate 4 family size bags of lifesaver gummie rings.  WTF do kids think.

Muse's parade about to start. We were on Magazine Street at the Queen' house. Parade started about 3 blocks from us.

The start of the parade. There were about 25 floats and HS Bands in the parade. The floats came by, and just showered the crowd with beaded necklaces, light toys, streamers, bracelets, you name it. If you did not catch them, you got smacked in the face with it. I got hit on the head with a flashlight thing.
I gotta tell you, the policeman hitting me with it was down right rude.
Ron,  stating the obvious.....you ain't right. Good thing you got Suzy to keep you in line. Have a great time brother.

I love being semi-retired (semi-unemployed?) and able to do stuff like this on a Thursday.  BTW...down 14 pounds in a month using MyFitnessPal...that thing works!

Better way to lose 14 lbs than 1 week of (A)H3N2.  Hoping to gain back taste and smell soon after 10 days of missing those senses!

Good for you. I'm in the process of refining my eating habits as well using My Fitness Pal. As you said, it works. We just has to be mindful of how much food we stuff in that big hole under our nose.

I’d be happy with 6% of the time. I’ve quit trying and just cut it open.
Here’s how to do it 100% of the time. Place the bag so that the back side of the stitching is away from you. Find the knotted end on the right side. Take your thumb and pointer finger and grab the knotted area and pull straight out from the bag. Do that 2-3 times and the knot will loosen up and you’ll see the string to pull that opens the bag.
