No brainer - the home one has the the largest opportunities and costs.  Besides that review happens on a near continuous basis.

Then once everything is agreed upon and you get a PO, customer requires changes and you are the bad guy for quoting the changes.

@fishlessman-Like trying to catch a bead of mercury...back in the day.  The final decision will be rendered when it becomes a crisis for them and then by association, you.  Enjoy the 12 pack and don't wait too long to get underway.

Just remember, sometimes you get the job because all of the other potential suppliers have thrown in the towel. Stick at it.

Edit. My typical first quote to order placement is 2 - 3 years. Sometimes much longer.  Add in 9 months for manufacture, delivery and actually getting paid, it's an endurance contest.

Heck Fish, our wonderful salesforce comes to me like years sometimes five or more asking can I have this gear for the price you gave me then?

Or better yet, hey my customer bought this gear in 2004, they want to buy the EXACT same thing, will you honor the same price?  Ummmm... No.

I use the car dealership analogy all the time with them.

Watching Olympics curling live from Korea. The US is playing OAR - Olympic Athletes from Russia.

They should have stuck with prohibiting any Russians from participating but it is what it is. Go USA!!

I get this way everytime I get AARP mail.

The reasons are numerous. Wine is a big part of it though.

No toddlers tonight. We get to adult.

Someone made a post about meatballs last week and someone else suggested ricotta cheese in them.  I owe someone a virtual hug.
I applaud your plate brother.  Your ice-bourbon ratio worries me =)

If you make ice cubes from vodka, the ratio is just right.

Vodka freezes at about -112F. That’s a heck of a freezer.
