Two plates of these. They brought mine out late and then they brought it again. I tried to send it back but of course they can’t serve it so they have it to me. Oh well, I will man up.

T-shirt weather here so it must be time to Egg something on the MiniMax.
Introduced Rufus to the NY Strip on the left, SWMBO's normal S&P&G on the right.
Mixed white and yellow corn and boiled petite red russets. A good, quick meal at our house. Will find something else for Rufus to enhance. Thanks for looking.Ubi panis, ibi patria.

Made a pot of African Peanut Soup.
While it was getting happy, fired the XL:
Back in and the soup took the chill off from being outside nicely:
After dinner prepped a picnic shoulder and put it on the egg once the smoke was good:
Back inside there was work to be done:
10 creme brûlées and 10 1/2 chocolate pots in the bath:
I only filled the half pint jars halfway because I wanted more surface area to custard ratio. Side effect, they float. I think that should be fine, the custard is submerged below the water surface.They/Them

I have no idea about African peanut soup but I also know this is Friday PM and there is no chance I could pull off those cooks or document on the forum, regardless of day of the week. Most eggcellent.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

My wife came across the recipe when cleaning up today and it had been a few years since I made it last. I subbed white potatoes for sweet, creamy PB for crunchy, and diced chicken breast for ground turkey. Just because that's what we had.

Reaping the benefits of split and stacked firewood from three years ago in a new-to-us wood stove which I moved in the house 2 months ago. The "new" stove replaced one which ate wood faster than a 18" chipper. Moving the 447 lb beast in was a hell of a chore, and was not sure it was going to be worth it at the time.
4 wheelbarrows of wood in 4 days. The thermometer says 16F and I did not yet hear or feel the heater come on since I lit it and it got up to temp.
Yea, it was worth it.....

Had a lot of fun cooking for some close friends tonight. Appetizers on the large, queso staying warm on the fondu burner, polenta cooked in the wok on the MM, and green chili chicken enchiladas in the oven. No plated pics - I was having fun (and sangria) and forgot...
Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"
