Rested my second turbo butt cook while I went shopping for a couple of gifts.
Pulled with two forks and added Maurice's Vinegar sauce. Now warming in oven while SWMBO does other chores before we eat sandwiches.

Pulled out the bark for snacks later, well I did try two pieces. Yum.

    Thanks for looking.

Christmas weekend. Peace on earth and goodwill towards men, Charlie Brown.
  • Took the boys to see the last Jedi earlier.  Beer and recliners are a bad combo if you actually want to watch the movie.

@SciAggie -  Better to be lucky than good any day...Great evening right there.  Teasers and dinner look great... like that's a surprise??  Congrats.  BTW- have they been exposed to any of your truly signature paella cooks??  If so, then I doubt they would ever leave.

@lousubcap Thanks. The “adopted” daughter has not had paella with me yet. I look forward to a chance to make that for her though.

Challenging myself to remain in LEO as the pull of an escape velocity ride is quite strong.  I would eagerly take the journey except the outer limits are not defined and given the Saturday challenges, I just have to throttle back.  The opportunity will be around soon.

@NPHuskerFL My wife insisted the cookies be baked in the house. I begged until she let me cook one batch in the wood oven - couldn’t tell the difference. It was a small but satisfying victory.

I struggled during the Casino part.  Pretty sure I dozed for a decent portion.  In the end it was a non-important side mission so not to worried.

@DMW- great banquet and pics.  Definitely a great time.
BTW- how do you like the Argyle?  I find it a sleeper and would not have ever tried their grapes had it not been for connections thru a friend.

@lousubcap - Thanks, the Argyle was quite good. Someone brought it, I would have overlooked it on the shelf at the store.

Will be fun Mario Cartin' this to the campground for winding down at night, rainy days.
