    hey, @theyolksonyou

Take no grief over the garage thing.  Lots of guys go there because it's the only space they're in charge of.  I'm unmarried - and the garage is still the place I'd prefer to be.

    Your wings look on point.

Did something important happen?  World Series is on.  No time for news.

@theyolksonyou and @WeberWho  Those are some great Friday night groceries.  Y'all are gonna be pressed to top those over the course of the weekend.  But that's not a bad thing to deal with.
I just finished prepping a brisket for tomorrow. I'm planning to fire up the big ugly offset smoker around 5am tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed it all comes together. Family in town for the weekend.

@WeberWho - No worries about it coming together.  Enjoy the cook.
I've got a non BGE brisket set for Sunday- given all the variables (but no rain in the forecast) it will be great fun, like every one of them regardless of device.

Well it's been quite the start to the day. Dropped a butt this morning with some pecan / hickory combo smoke action. Broke my French Press beaker....and will be without my morning pumpkin coffee....might have to make a Starbucks run (no thanks)....so jamming on some Black Blueberry Tea. Life is good.

Mrs. Bucky and I decided last night we would do one soup a day and freeze it for the cooler temps. coming.  She makes a Outstanding Zupa soup (based loosly on Olive Garden but better) and I make chilli and veggi soup.  Today I tried a new to me soup.  Homemade chicken and noodle.  Just took it off the stove and I thought it was a keeper.

Would love to have the recipe for OG's "Tuscana" soup, the stuff with thin-sliced potatoes and sausage; LOVE that stuff!
http://www.tuscanrecipes.com/recipes/olive-garden-zuppa-toscana.html  We do use Frank Courior hot sausage.  But you get the idea

    Thank You!!   :)

August Schell Brewing Company (2nd oldest family owned brewery in the nation - New Ulm, MN) bought them in 2001. It's still a midwest beer. 9 times out of 10 I'll go into the liquor store to try out some new type of craft beer but end up walking out with a case of Grain Belt. Hard to pass up what you like. It's a staple here in MN

No worries @WeberWho.  My house rules; light the fire, time for an adult supervisory beverage (or more as needed) ; protein on, time for another adult supervisory beverage then as deemed prudent for the duration of the cook.  Above rules are time of day independent.  FWIW-
