Looking at doing 4-7 acres. 4 now and then adding another 3 when the corn gets harvested. I don't have power except in the barn and the house, which are pretty close to each other. I know I can do it my self for +/- $400. I just don't feel like it.Large, Medium, MiniMax, 36" Blackstone

We have the Stubborn Dog Fence, will go to 25ac - http://amzn.to/2vmvIz9
I highly recommend getting solid copper wire from the start and go with 16-18ga. I used stranded for a while and kept getting breaks.
Get a large spool of twisted pair, solid, for places you want to cancel out the RF so the collar will not pick up that RF.
We live back off the road, have woods on sides and rear, and I just laid the line on top of the the leaves and let mother nature bury it.
In the yard, I bought some metal stakes to stake the line down so the mower doesn't pick it up and cut it or tripping hazard. After a while, the line sinks into the ground. So I didn't bury anything. If you needed to do that, you could rent a walkbehind edger or you may know someone that has one to make a trench for the places you might have.------------------------------
