Bend over, and take it, is another great acronym.

Bent the band on my XL trying to get the bolt loose. Looks like a trip to Roswell Hardware is in order.

Exactly. If you'll note the top band, it was bent in far enough that the carriage bolt didn't catch either. Six years of service and I need a set a bands... I'll take that anyday.

I'm going on 4 years and luckily I haven't had any band issues.  Then again I have never taken mine apart.

Exactly right now I'm getting pretty pissed off because I can't seem to figure out why I can't set the MTU size on a few Linux bridges to 9000. I can on one bridge on the same host after setting the MTU on the NIC that is in that bridge to 9000 as well. The other bridges have no NICs currently, so there should be no reason I can't set the MTU to 9000.

    Oh, and I'm drinking beer...

@bgebrent - killed that rack for sure.  Most eggcellent.  Wine-wise I would recommend Gallo Sweet Red grape.  Will definitely enhance any banquet.

This is not a production environment. It's a labbed virtual setup running in my house. I hope if Brent comes on here while drinking to ask for advice he'll be operating on a dummy....

Oh, and my family is still gone, I'm here by myself, not much else to do.
