That is going to be beautiful Ron. Will you be putting a glass door on it or leaving it open? We do not have a door for our shower. It's wide open to the elements.
Thought long and hard on that, we are doing a glass door. If you knew the age and history of the home you would understand why we decided to this.

Pork and beef done. Took longer than expected until the middle of the pork probed nicely, approx 7 hours at between 350 and 375 (turned it up because I knew I was late getting these on). Wrapped the beef after 4 hours to retain moisture. Bed time now, going to have these for lunch tomorrow.

@Eoin - way to stay the course.  I doubt I would be able to complete such an extended duration round with the BGE's, much less document the outcome.  Enjoy the awaiting banquet.

Did a 10lb pork butt yesterday.  After cooking, pulling and giving away 2/3 of it I just wasn't in the mood.  So took my lovely wife to a "hole in the wall" restaurant for a nice meal.  It is a hidden treasure for sure and a really great meal.

@nolaegghead. I hope your place was spared by the flooding.   It looked really bad and widespread.

Recovering from entering this door at John Mellencamp, things got a little hazy at that point...best free concert I've been to.

Wonder what car dealership this guy came from?

This is where being tall rules.

Extended intro to Scarecrow was awesome, the lady on the violin was great.

Food fair was gouda mac and cheese amazeballs, $4 for two.

Only $8 for these pollo and azada nachos, wish I had a scale..fuego.  Fair grub quality has really changed for the better, still love me some funnel cake though.

John's bluesy new stuff was pretty good, a solid performance, may have to pick up his new album.  Been getting hammered at the fair now for 23 years..perfect weather, Pink Houses, Small Town, Scarecrow, Jack and Diane, good grub, and Bud, never gets old.

I had a Pavlovian reaction to the sight of those nachos.

    Man they were good.
When he handed them to me I needed a second hand for a sec, like holding a baby, supporting the neck. Lol

Wondering what some people think when they package things for shipment... Terrible, just terrible. Three jars stuffed into one bubble wrap mailer and thrown in a box without additional material is just stupid.

I ordered 3 x lead acid batteries online a few years ago. They arrived pre-filled with acid, 'packed' in a cardboard box. The box arrived in shreads and quite wet.

Typical lunch today, business trip to Brazil

Details, please.  What cut of meat is that?  Whats in the sauce?  Looks yummy!
@Botch, they called it a "master cut" and indicated that there were three different cuts on the same bone. I'm far, far from a butcher (and have no Portuguese language skill), but think it's a tomahawk ribeye with both the cap and rib meat still on. Definitely different tenderness, texture, and flavor in the three area. Sauce was slightly carmelized pickled red onions, olive oil, garlic, parsley and a hint of basil. Fabulous lunch, served in a restaurant built under/around a figueira tree in São Paulo.

SRF ribs just went on for apps, SRF flat iron and perppera and onions in the wings marinating and some shrimp ready to be dusted with rub all for fajitas. Good to be home and egging again!
