Made a surprising discovery this evening.

On those nights when its still in the 90's and you HAVE to get the lawn mowed, I've always debated whether an ice-cold beer, or fully-iced tea, was the better refresher (I tend to lean towards the tea).
Anyhoo, opening the freezer I realized I still had a half bag full of frozen, purple grapes.  I ate those instead, and there's simply no contest.  PERFECT for after-mowing cooldown!
(for those who haven't had them, grapes have enough natural sugar in them that they don't freeze solid like an ice cube, but rather like a popsicle.  Fantastic!)

@Zeiger88 please remove that Busch light from the egg mate. You are tarnishing an otherwise good egg.
Should he replace with a lowenbrau?
I'm a hillbilly I grew up on Busch Light I just really like it.  I knew I would catch s**t for it that's why I like this forum.
Working mans beer right there! As the late great Harry Carey said "the only beer that can say it's own name", Busch! As you pop the top! Cheers!
It is the working mans beer. I cut grass and work on stuff and always have a Busch Light within arms reach.
Shake off the haters, there's nothing wrong with Busch.  My daily BOC is Bud.  Have a case of Revolution Fist City in the fridge, my most favorite.  Newcastle is up there too for store bought stuff.

    Chicken looks good btw.
Thanks for the compliment on the chicken. It was very good.
Chicken was spectacular. Just giving out what I get.

Finishing up some things in the office before I pack up the car for vacation.  Leave Friday morning and gonna spend a day and a half in Asheville.   Then on to Murrell’s Inlet/Surfside Beach to the condo.

It’s not my usual “Smart’s March Across Georgia” vacation to Florida (which I prefer).  But my girls’ wanted more shopping and entertainment this year for vacation.  Which probably means a day trip to Charleston is in the cards as well.

Either way, I’m more than ready to leave work behind for a while and try my best to not burn.

Spend a lot of money in our state. We need to fix our roads ;) On a good note, our gas is cheap. I know you will enjoy Asheville. Try the Shiva from Asheville Brewing....thank me later.

Thanks @bgebrent and @northGAcock .  I’m always eager for a vacation, but this one is coming at a much needed time.  We’re in the midst of trying to digest another acquisition as well as interview/hire/train some new folks due to turnover.  It puts the fu in fun.

@northGAcock @pgprescott I made a BLT the other day and fried the bacon in a "weave". It was great - the bacon stays together.

Don't know when....but one day I am coming to Texas to break bread with you....and see that finished kitchen. You have hero status in my book.

I've been grilling my bacon and using thick cut variety. I may just have to try grilled bacon weave! Nice idea with the weave!
