I never do anything for V-Day, because I think it's stupid, but this morning I made SWMBO a nice cup of bacon for her drive to work. Hopefully, she appreciates the gesture.

Picked up a bunch of free stuff, wood for a backsplash, grandpa's walnut, dad's garbage can he wasn't using.

Walnut will likely be a kitchen live edge shelf now with knot issues.

Commercial garbage can looks much nicer, and bigger, than the plastic one it replaced.  Grandpa's walnut was used for the shelf here too.

Nice work.  Looked at GA Soldier Field....$300???  Standing byfor now...we'll see.  Got a buddy who's in, but after you factor lodging, Shytown fun, it would be a full blown vaycay.

I love Metallica, but damn.  Miss the $40 GA floor days.

Ours were $190 each (plus the God awful fees) sitting behind home plate at the new Braves stadium 15 mins from the house. Ticket prices are a joke these days. I guess that's where they can make money in the new digital music era. I am looking forward to Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat opening up the show as well.

    Cool, $190 is great...
in your own backyard to boot.

I'm with ya, would love to see Avenged Sevenfold open up.

Hell, I'll probably cough up the money, have to process these prices, and take out a loan. Lol

For the record, it would be worth it.
