I am glad nobody was seriously hurt. This is a painful right of passage it seems. I have a 17 year old and we have been down this path too. That is one of the scariest calls you can get as a parent.Battleborn said:

We used to have a smaller one for banding lambs tails and nads. We stopped banding their nads and just sent the males to the butcher before they were a full year old. For ones that we kept banding their tails was necessary or their back end was to nasty to shear.
