This is amazing, @nolaegghead compliments him, tosses a friendly jab about something that happened that I am sure @TEXASBGE2018 admits was dumb to post and is funny now. However some grown ass adults have such an online vendetta against Nola they dislike it. I love this placenolaegghead said:

I just love that there are a few that are so dedicated to the dislike. What’s that saying about doing the same thing repeatedly but expecting a different outcome?THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER -

Just getting over a 5 hour breakdown. Main shaft bearing exploded on my 1200# capacity mixer. Glad we had a spare. Glad we had the seals as well. Went smoother than it could have, thank God it’s Friday

@ColbyLang - That's knowing your critical equipment and having the right parts on the shelf. Get work right there.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

I'm assuming that's bacon on top? Not sure why I have never thought about doing that.WeberWho said:WeberWho said:I smoked some cream cheese this evening. I'm not sure how well it's going to reheat tomorrow in a toaster oven at work but I guess we will find out...
I tossed them in the toaster oven this morning to reheat and all is good. I can't tell any difference from off the grill and today. An appetizer that can be made the day ahead of time.

Around here it just means it was tranquilized and re-located. This guy was done twice so it would be considered a nuisance bear. There is a mine site about 40km from where I took the pic. He likely was wandering into the camp there.saluki2007 said:

I saw him on the side of the road so I stopped to take a pic (story below). He walked towards my truck and went behind. I was trying to catch him in my drivers mirror but couldn't locate him. When I looked back up he was standing beside the passenger side of the truck with his head in the window. I could have reached over and touched him if I wanted.
Funny story, well not so funny. The reason I wanted the pic was to show my wife that he was still alive. A week earlier in the same spot I had hit one with her truck (a '22 with less than 3000km on it) Anyway it ran off and with the damage I had assumed I likely killed it. The bear we hit was identical in size color (cinnamon variation) and also tagged, so the odds that this is the same guy is very good. The cinnamon variation is pretty rare around here as well as tags. Anyway he didn't seem to hold a grudge about the week prior and wandered off shortly after. -

Jalapeno jelly and bacon are a must when smoking cream cheese. Stupid simple and people go on raving about it. Funny how you can smoke a brisket for 12 hours and people will tell you how good it is but you make a block of cream cheese, bbq rub, jalapeno jelly, bacon, and a hint of smoke and you'll have coworkers telling you it's the best thing they've ever ate. I just don't get it. Sometimes easy is good."The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

Stopped at a friend's house near Salt Lake City and had an amazing dinner. Sausage, chicken, and tri-tip. Everything was raised in the valley behind his house. As locally sourced meal as I have ever had. Will have pork to the menu in November.
