    Nope, I support police.  Lots of my friends are police.  I also hate bad officers.  They make my friends job more dangerous.  I also am baffled by the defund movement.  That is insane.  Like criminals are just stop criminaling if there are no police are around.

    With that said, I really like Michael Chiklas character on The Shield.  What a great show.  His Commish character was not near as fun.

    I say that mostly in jest. There isn’t a sarcasm font for that to come through.

    Update on Cast Iron replacement or as @kl8ton called it "Paying a lot of money for a project that you can't tell we did after completion - how I do it"

    This happened late this afternoon. @Ozzie_Isaac - you'll be glad know I have more opportunities to practice drywall repair now.

    First of two new Delta 17 MultiChoice Shower valves and trim kit to be installed. The second trim kit did not arrive with the second valve. The cartridge comes with the trim kit so the other valve will need to be installed at a later unknown date.

    not sure on this particular shower valve but on these multi handle units the pressure is fully on or fully off. dont try and save water by putting it half way like some of the older generation will do or you will be replacing the valve and or seals quicker
    Thanks for the info @fishles@fishlessman
     I had no intention of trying to save water with that "trick".

    if that was a warden he would have had his gun out just getting out of the car, ive had to tell them to put the gun away before while drinking a coffee. another for pointing the gun at my dog(this one killed himself a few weeks later)  being a warden sounds like a great job but i think they go crazy, its a job for a true loner, not an outdoorsman. as for the maniac in the car, you gotta love those guys, bet it takes 20 minutes for him to tell a knock knock joke....the true test for a mainer

    I spit my coffee out listening to that. My favorite part was after using every known swear word in the English language the guy calmly changes his tone in an instant and says, "my god my wife bless her heart" or something.

    From behind battened hatches I grace you with my prophecies.  Let’s climb straight in;

    West Ham v Newcastle;  the hosts aren’t quite the compelling entity they were a few weeks ago and in the most irksome development all season, the Toon have started winning. That disappoints me.  Stern test on the road though. 2-1 and good sense returns.

    Arsenal v Brentford; an opening day abomination by the Gunners can be avenged - and will be the.  The Bees are like the proverbial house of cards right now. 3-0

    Aston Villa v Watford; despite the arrival of the PL’s own ‘Obi’ (Roy Hodgson) the Hornets are in great peril.  His intervention will only narrow their defeats. Villa will hit their straps and a cultured, no stress 2-0 plays out here.

    Brighton v Burnley,  the visitors are heading right up the swanny.  I foresee nothing but a flouncy 1-0.   That disappoints me, too.

    Palace v Chelsea,  the Eagles are flaccid and have dipped out on two highly achievable wins recently while showing little invention or determination.  That disappoints me, as well.  1-2 is the best I can hope for.

    Liverpool v Norwich,  as improved as the Canaries are, or were until city battered them, there’s no prospect of a win here.  3-0

    Southampton v Everton, the Saints have cruised to a comfy mid-table while the Super Frank Lampard revolution at Everton is yet to fully launch.  Home win is likely but not certain, so 1-1 for me.

    Man City v Spurs,  the visitors have faded drastically with 3 defats on the bounce.  That’s irrelevant though because Citeh will win this 2-0.

    Stoke v Birmingham, more Midlands fun for the Potters this weekend as they host a sullen Blues team that aren’t all that this season.  Strong point last week against Forest means that a win will keep @Eoin optimistic of staying int the play-offs hunt. 2-0.

    Sunday;

    Leeds v Man Utd, a game with significant charm,  in the same way that the battle scene from 300 was charming.  There will be action off the pitch, is what I’m saying.  Utd are all sorts of bonkers and Leeds are in a scrap for survival.  Lots and lots and lots of running around the pitch and a few goals.  I’m going 1-2 - but frankly it could equally be 0-0 or 23-19.

    Wolves v Leicester, turning in to a right damp squib for the Foxes this season,  that does not disappoint me.    Wolves will win this at the canter so Big Bren and his gawjus teeth will need yet another way to blame the players.  2-0.

    There you go.  I am off to ‘Captain Dan’ in my garden while segments of local trees hurtle past.

    I am just spit balling here, if a person could get sub contractors to communicate with each other then a lot of headaches and rework could be avoided.  A little planning and knowledge could really go a long way.

    When you see things like this it really makes you stop and ponder for a while.

    Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

    That brings back flashbacks from a big project I did a few years ago where a BioPharma firm had these pre-fabbed 'clean' rooms brought into a near identical setting.
