Could very well be. Supposed to be here yesterday, now shows Sunday. We will see. At a 98 pound shipping weight I wonder if I’m a going to have to go pick it up somewhere.

Sitting in this sh!t show. I've moved 1/2 mile in 30min. There better be a dead rotting carcass on the highway up here.

I suspect it's everyone staring at the FedEx truck, amazed that it is making a delivery in the daylight.
We use TNT for work. FedEx took them over last year. The service hasn't improved.

Apparently, they also make one featuring ciders, so I missed the boat on getting her one. Someone please remind me next year!

In to the engine room of the season now, the middle third of fixtures and a transfer window in the next 8 weeks.  Savvy teams will amass points in order to mount a charge or stave off relegation fears. It’s far from clear which of the top 3 will win it or which of the bottom 17 will go down.  All very open.

    Here we go;

West Ham v Chelsea, despite the Hammers recent stall, the Blues are just too good 1-3

Newcastle v Burnley, 0-1 it’s the only option. The Clarets are now fully awake and will grind out single goal thrillers all season to finish 16th.  Every missed point for Toon adds about £10m to the transfer budget.

Southampton v Brighton, Saints operating below the radar this season which usually means the manger is thanked for his services in the Summer. Filthy Seagulls back to their draw specialism. 1-1

Wolves v Liverpool, the Reds are on fire and it will be tough for the hosts to get anything out of this. 0-2.

Watford v Man City, brace yourself Hornets as Citeh are in no mood for messing about.  Hopefully a cricket score but probably 0-2

    Sunday

Leeds v Brentford, having mugged Palace in the 128th of ninety minutes mid-week I hope Leeds fall flat on their faces.  However, I don’t think the Bees have the minerals.  2-2

Man Utd v Palace, ah - balls. ‘regress to the mean’ & ‘in transition’ are each phrases we fans use to moderate the anxiety which follows defeats and in the alternative to ‘crisis’.  Two avoidable losses on the bounce and Patty V needs to grip the Eagles’ wheel. Anticipate new manager bounce for the hosts. 3-0 or more very possible.  Would have been a very different prediction last weekend.

Spurs v Norwich, the hosts remain very Spursy and the Canaries are 4 undefeated. They can’t escape the bottom 3 but would put clear water between them and Toon with a win.  Absolutely anyone’s guess which Spurs turn up, going safe as Sir Harry of Kane scores against weak teams; 2-1

Villa v Leicester, Stevie G welcomes former boss Big Bren and his gawjus teeth.  Not much between the teams; 1-1.

Stoke v QPR ,after a stutter the Potters don’t need a visit from the 3rd place team,  but perhaps this test is what they need right now to shake off recent mis-steps?  Hard fought 1-0 and the dream’s alive.

    Monday

Everton v Arsenal, free-fall Toffees are well down stream of the famous creek without propulsion.  Down to 14th which is double their standard position, with no salvation in sight. Gunners seize the opportunity 0-2.

Ok, I am off to return the snow shoes and igloo construction guide I ordered a couple of days ago.

Other girls may try to take me away

It's great to see this @CPFC1905.

All of your predictions look to be perfect in direction.  The only quibble is with the size of some of the vectors.

City will score more than 2 against a Watford team that used all of their energy outplaying, but failing to earn a draw vs the Blues mid-week.

And Man U don't have a 3 goal victory in them yet.  If they had that sort of potential horsepower currently, Ole would have been able to get more out of them and hold off his inevitable sacking a little longer.  I don't know if the Eagles score more or Man U score less than you predicted, but it won't be a 3 goal difference.

Unfortunately, I probably won't get to watch much this weekend as I am working all night tonight and tomorrow I'm flying to rural (OK, flying to Roanoke and then driving 2 more hours north) Virginia for a meeting.

It is allegedly in Bum F*ck, Kansas in transit. Still on target for a Sunday delivery. Again, allegedly.

Getting ready for college football 🏈. Anyone else watching today?

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

The greatest barrier against all wisdom, the stronghold against knowledge itself, is the single thought, in ones mind, that they already have it all figured out.
