Just finished prepping the post-turkey purge brisket for Sunday:
The rub is Dizzy Pig Cow Lick (primary) and Hardcore Black. Also sprinkled some bourbon smoked pepper (some of which is white...).
Fire the fire at Zero dark thirty for around a 5-6 PM eat at my son's house.

I may be locked out of heaven for this, but some years ago Ynette and I bought a (GASP!) artificial Christmas tree. It is a very realistic one from Balsam Hill. I bought it for half price one July and set it up to test it out. No decorations then, but it is pre lighted and looks pretty good.
I like Christmas decorations, so we usually set it up around mid October. I set it up, and Ynette decorates it. She won't allow me in the living room until she is finished. Says I just don't have the touch. I get to relax until it is time to put the empty boxes back up in the attic....XL BGE in San Jose, CA. In a previous life, when we moved to HI the price of natural trees there was impressive to say the least. Opted for the artificial tree as the kids at the time didn't care.
Once back in the states, back to natural til they moved out then back to the fake tree.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

Moving furniture so we can set up the tree. And after the new year we can put SWMBO’s home office set up on the main floor, since it is looking less likely that we ever return to the office full time.
