    The scorpion is a Machiavellian forum member who's deluded into thinking their cause is righteous and knows their actions will cause moderation/censorship of all, yet they unconsciously can't help themselves as they cross that line, becoming, through action, the very a-hole they detest, all-the-while projecting themselves unto others.  The self-loathing is palpable, yet doesn't bubble up to the surface as they've stared into the sun of their own proverbial anus, not seeing anything for the blinding light of obviousness.  LOL. LMAO.

    Nature or nurture - what really makes a scorpion?

    I dunno...they did something right.

    I have a Hitachi belt sander that's a beast, too big and powerful to use except for big jobs.

    But I agree, most of their stuff sucks.

    Ask her to pick up a roll of duct tape so when you dust the house with the leaf blower you can secure all the fragile stuff.

    The opening question is just a signal test to check you are awake.

    The silence during your response was consumed generating further tasks to add to the pre-prepared list, plus thinking about 7 other things you don't even know about all at the same time - except for that thing you did 25 years ago, that's always just below the surface.

    Lads, lads, lads; great news.  The county cricket season has commenced.  We have surged to Day 2 already but fear not because you can catch-up and live stream via the ECB website at no cost.   I know most of you will have done so already but we’re a broad church and this news might have slipped by some of the congregation.

    The small matter of 8 PL games left,  stick with it we’re almost there.

    Tonight;

    Fulham v Wolves, a tale of could’ve/should’ve/would’ve for Fulham last week after taking the lead against Villa and then shipping three to comfortably lose. Wolves will be a tough ask to wrestle 3 points from and no matter how rubbish Newcastle are, they have more points - so to stay up the Cottagers have to generate wins from somewhere. Not this week. 1-2

    Saturday;

    Man City v Leeds, this game was a bunch of fun earlier in the season but it’s a different kettle of fish now.  Citeh are cruising to the title and have the CL on their minds.  Leeds have their beachwear on.  Mundane 2-0

    Liverpool v Villa, wheels off in Europe too now for big Jurgy, so the Reds have to upturn their league form to qualify for next seasons CL. Villa whacked them 7-2 last time around but that’s not happening this time. Narrow win for the Scousers 2-1

    Palace v Chelsea, it all went belly up in spectacular fashion for Tommy T last week.  He won’s permit a repeat and Palace need no encouragement to be flaccid, especially as they appear safe for another season.  Many Eagles out of contract in the Summer. They might see these games as the shop window or, more likely, they have plans in place and couldn’t give a monkeys chuff.  0-2

    Sunday;

    Burnley v Newcastle, 1-0 is all I got but to be honest a Toon win would be my preference just to hinder Brighton.

    West Ham v Leicester, surprise European place contenders face-off. I just think the Foxes have the edge but it could well be the best game this week. 2-3

    Spurs v Man Utd, Jose can revel in the company of two squads who just aren’t good enough for him - as according to his recent pronouncement that’s the problem.   Kane has got his scoring boots back but Utd usually find the net more than once.  1-2

    Sheff Utd v Arsenal, what’s the point of this one? 0-1

    Monday;

    West Brom v Southampton, just too much to do for the Baggies now and a defeat here will be the death-knell.  Saints have been a bit wonky recently so it could be a bit helter-skelter. 2-3

    Brighton v Everton, better-on-the-road Toffees need to take all three to keep European dreams alive.  The rotten filthy stinking Seagulls are nudging safety, largely because four other teams have elected to play worse than them all season - for which I can find no forgiveness.  0-1

    Stoke head just down the road to play Birmingham City who are loitering precariously over the relegation zone.   Both teams in similar form, so who wants it more? Probably the Blues, 1-0.

    That’s enough of me detaining you from the county cricket coverage. Away you go back to watch the remaining five hours of today’s ponderous, mediocre and arcane sporting endeavour.

    This week I'll choose to quibble with your Tottenham vs Man U prediction.  I'd love to see a United victory, but there is something about Jose that makes me think he won't be losing to his former club.  I think he has some sort of Jedi/Sith mind power over former players and former clubs.  Make it Spurs 2-1.

    I'll also go way out on a limb and prognosticate a point for West Brom in a boring 1-1 affair against Southampton where both goals look like they could have been scored in a youth game by nearly random kicks from a bundle in the box.

    @CPFC1905, I'm sorry you had to watch your team's demise come at the feet of 2 goals from the American.

    How are you doing it?  On the Egg or in a dehydrator?

    Dehydrator. Liking the texture and flavor but oddly enough it's not very salty despite sitting 24hrs in a soy sauce/salt/garlic marinade

    The dehydrator is the way to go.

    One of the easiest jerky marinades that was suggested to me by @travisstrick is just Hot and Spicy Allegro.  You only need it for like 6-8 hrs.  My recollection is that it yields jerky that’s plenty salty but don’t take my word for it - saltiness varies a lot by personal preference in my experience.
