How long do you usually let carrots ride in the bag before eating them?

It's my first experiment with carrots. First attempt with cabbage, mustard green, celery (all in first photo) went 10-12 days but didn't puff anywhere near this.

Probably because that's exactly what it looks like when they crash.  Except the door is closed to keep passengers from flying in the cockpit.

flying to the abacos from miami in an open cockpit plane i asked why the fuel gage read empty, was told it hadnt worked all year. more troubling, the trip back the plane before mine had a cracked engine block and the pilot refused to fly it, they went nuts on the pilot, they needed to get it fixed in miami.  the argument grew loud enough that the passengers all cancelled. im asleep before the plane levels out

My brother used to work as a flight attendant for an airline that will remain nameless. One time his friend was training a new hire on a flight and the pilots played a prank. They asked the new hire attendant to bring them some water at the beginning of the flight once they reached altitude. When she opened the door she freaked out because they had used trash bags to cover the windows and put autopilot on. They pretended to be asleep. That probably doesn't help your anxiety right?

Made green lentil dahl, cumin potatoes and spinach roti.

Just a pic of the roti, as that was a big success. Cooked on the gas stove using the BGE plancha.

Just meet the plane at 30K feet (LEO) and that should help.  I can sleep thru the take-off but always wake up on the first landing gear contact with the runway or wherever it occurs.  Any landing you walk away from is a great one!

In Feb flying back from Cabo the head winds were so bad we had to make an unplanned stop for fuel, pilot looked back and said. " hang on " it was a quick decent ...hour flight was almost 3 hours

Brother in law is PIC on a Gulfstream. They fly on autopilot almost exclusively. He sends me pics of them watching Netflix at altitude non stop

Took the dog to the vet for shots. Downside he has arthritis in his right hip, upside he actually lost weight during Covid.
Trying to find a break in the rain to detail the present car. The future car has made it to the US and I want a good trade in.
According to the weather forecast, there won’t be any Egging before Sunday.
