i think im having fun with plantar fasciitis, thinking about hitting it with a baseball bat
Fought that one for about a year- switched to higher arch shoe inserts and then did calf stretches probably 4-5 times a day religiously. First stretch in bed before my feet hit the floor. About 30 days later the pain was gone

had it a few years ago, same foot. heading out for the half foot inserts and see if i can find a compression sleeve

It pays to carry a mortgage here. Property taxes will kill you without the mortgage exemption. Time to take a mortgage out with rates being as cheap as they are :)
Our property taxes get paid the same, mortgage or not. Ive never heard of what you mention up here.I live outside the city limits, so im at about 3k/yr. A few miles closer to town it would be 6k/yr
Personal taxes seem really complicated in the US.
Just to clarify, poster is Canadian, unfortunately afaik we get zero mortgage relief.

Prepping pizzas for tonight.  Wife got the vaccine today, she’s got a sore arm and hopefully that’s the worst of it.
@FarmingPhD I have done a totally unfunded and anecdotal study but in my sample size of 15 total with 7 Pfizer and 8 Moderna yields that the second shot of Moderna hits with much more impact than Pfizer.  Age range 33 to 70+.  My son, ( pharmacist and wife-in health care) were Moderna and had quite a reaction with the second shot for around + 18 hours as did 5 of the other Moderna.  Not so with the Pfizer (me) and the other Pfizer second shots.
But in the end game just getting the juice was an emotional high (especially the first) deal for me and is the objective here.  Hope there is nothing more than the sore arm.
BTW- my son does say that in all the literature he has read the Moderna does have a stronger reaction.  All above FWIW-
@l@lousubcap Here is another sample for your study. I got my second dose of Moderna yesterday morning. Felt fine when I went to bed, but woke up at 2 am freezing and shaking. Thought I wouldn't be able to open the Tylenol bottle, or would spill all the pills! Put on a sweat suit and grabbed an extra blanket and curled up in the foetal position for a hour. Slight fever and a few aches, but I am okay this morning. I had already told work that I wouldn't be in today. Fun stuff...

My brother had a really bad reaction with fever and chills.  Actually had to take several days off from work.  I got my second shot several days later fully expecting to have a bad reaction.  I got lucky.  A little arm soreness was all. I wonder if I didn't have any bad reactions is because I have already had Covid.   We both got the Pfizer shot.

@Gulfcoastguy - It is somewhat of a crapshoot although the Moderna definitely has a better chance of hitting you harder.  My M-I-L (88yo) got her second Moderna and just a slight sore arm.  At least you are getting the vaccine.  That's a couple of orders of magnitude better than not.

@Gulfcoastguy My wife and I both had the Moderna shot. With the second shot we had reactions. It wasn't horrible - I just advise people not to plan anything important the next day. Don't plan a career changing presentation the next day if possible. Take a day off if you can.

My mom (65) had slight reaction to the second shot (moderna). Fever for 8-12 hours the next day. Felt fine that evening. My parents were able to get early vaccinations due to my special needs sister living at home. It was offered through the respite program she’s enrolled in

ya, I give it a month before we reinstate them. Plus im guessing most major corporations that aren't already back open will remain virtual for safety reasons. Not smart as a company to open your 2,000 employee headquarters with open cubicle office space and No restrictions.

Santa Clara County just moved from the most restrictive tier to the second most. That means indoor dining but only at 25% capacity. No bars indoors. Still have to wear masks unless you are outside and six feet away from people.

It will go about as well as the electrical grid in the last storm. Massachusetts has opened more things than I think they should. The great news is that we as individuals get to decide what we are and are not willing to do.

Are these smoked? Or is the color just from the ingredients?

I have custom inserts for the boots I wear every day, it makes a lot of difference to have support across the whole foot.

I called Delta about my broken 17 year old faucet and they said to go their website and pick out a new one and they'll ship it to me free of charge. I'm not even the original home owner and don't have receipt.  I was ecstatic. The only snag is it can't be a "pull-out" faucet, since mine isn't, and pull-out faucets comprise 98% of all Delta kitchen faucets today.
