I asked her how the others in her group liked the place after she initially sent the text. I never received a response. Her phone skills aren't up to a teenagers standard. I'm sure I'll get a response in the next day or two. I think her group was heading up to Tofte. Cell coverage I'd imagine is spotty at best. I know they planned on hitting OMC at some point.StillH2OEgger said:
Glad to hear it! I like a good muffuletta, but the Cajun Finn has to be my favorite sandwich of all time. Did they try any others?WeberWho said:@StillH2OEgger

I just received a text from my mom. You guys win the coveted first food picture on her phone!
Thanks again for the recommendation.
Hmm, might be too late, but there is a nice smoked fish place called Russ Kendals in Knife River between Two Harbours and Duluth, that they will drive right by. Also you can follow the old highway along the lake back into Duluth from Knife River vs the expressway. Its a nice drive especially in the fall and only adds minutes -
Thank you. I'll pass this along. Much appreciated!poster said:WeberWho said:

Very windy here, for fun I put my Chimney starter on the mini max upside down to reduce Bernoulli effect from pulling lots of air through the egg. The wind is blowing from back to front on the egg.Got a butt going for whatever one does with too much pulled pork.

Yes, cell coverage definitely spotty up there, which is part of the charm. If they're in Tofte and it's not snowing too hard (only half kidding on this) World's Best Donuts in Grand Marais is worth a stop. The name is deserved.WeberWho said:I asked her how the others in her group liked the place after she initially sent the text. I never received a response. Trying to cool down from work...rough morning...can't go into too many details. But there is a chance I may be job searching this week once big boss gets back in town...as I am low man on totem pole.
ill take an arse chewing if deserved...and there have been times it was rightfully done....this morning was not..I stood my ground and backed my stance up with plenty of proof...technically the guy attempting to cause problems does outrank me but he's not my boss..he was not expecting me to pop off back at him nor have proof ...middle management was not happy either...as I was not tactful ...and gave my opinion of the circumstances of the meeting as well.

Brother pigian, I know work and distance is hard to overcome. But one day you should consider coming and attending one of our mass slaughters. You seem like the kind of fellow that would really enjoy it. We usually do one in early December and one randomly in January. More often than not it’s an all day event that involves a killer breakfast and midday meal cooked over live fire. The food itself is worth coming for.lkapigian said:Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Mowing the grass is seeded on Labor Day, temps are dropping and likely won’t have to mow again in 2020. More lawn maintenance to come in 2021 to thicken up some sparse spots and thin the weeds.

Good on yah, Doc. I've done similar, twice, and your physical and mental health are more important than bowing to the Good Ol Boy system. Hollowed out my baking potatoes with my handy dandy jalapeño tool. Then stuffed them with salt, garlic and butter. Put the plugs back in and I'll give it a go with a couple of ribeyes.
