Just got back from one of our favorite wineries. I had to put my Cabernet bottle in a cooler because it is around 103 degrees around here. Wife and dog figured that was too hot, so we came home and they are napping together.XL BGE in San Jose, CA. Thanks-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
Enjoying a few home cooked ( not harvested) char-grilled oysters. I could do these much more frequently than my current interval. FWIW-
As with any oyster or clam...tasted better than they looked

Just made an American style omelette with cheddar, bacon and kimchi. I topped the creation with some avocado and sriracha. Not much to look at but the flavors melded unbelievably well. The creaminess of the avocado with the vinegary bite of the kimchi were complimented by the smoky and savory bacon flavor. One of the best breakfast items I have tasted.Greensboro, NC

@Wolfpack - were you a food reviewer in a past life? Asking as the above is a great description. And the omelette looks great as well.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Moves from concrete to landscaping. Started laying edgers which will go around most of the house followed by roughly 8 ton of river rock. Also installing pop-ups for all my down spouts to get the water 5+ feet from the house and can mow right over them.

Dom (our youngest at 15) has his birthday in a couple of weeks. I told him he could have his mates round in the garden and get a Chinese take out, his favourite. Today he asked if I could cook on the Egg for them instead of take out!

Jerk chicken thighs, smash burgers and sausages. Might do some Egg chilli in advance so the sausages can be chilli dogs too.
