A few years ago the US Air Force went from central servers on each AFB, to central servers at WPAFB, depending on the Intranetz for good communication.  It slowed things down, a bit, but every few weeks nobody, AF-wide, could connect at all.  And at least twice before I retired, nobody could log in for up to a week (that is a HUGE taxpayer loss).
I retired end of Jan, and by the end of Feb my office were deemed "non-essential" and ordered to work from home.  I talked to my boss and a few of my co-workers, and they reported about a 10% chance on getting on-line, each day.  I'm glad they're still getting paid, but damn what a loss (guys who do actual "hand's-on" maintenance have still had to go in every day; my office only generated PowerPointless slides).
Secure networks are a ****, especially from home.   :|

Today, I purchased/installed the Antivirus program Bitdefender on my '18 iMac.  Tried to also get it on my '10 Macbook Air, but because I (stupidly) set it up on a different Administrator/Password pair, its not letting me.  I'll wrestle with it some more tomorrow, or not (the Air is already old enough I can't upgrade the OS anymore, and my Credit Union refuses to talk to it, so its no big deal if I can't).
Hows this work in the CoronaVirus?

Wife just got back from Costco. We got a pack of pork chops, hamburger and ribs. She said everything else was gone. No salmon, steak or chicken.

first brisket,  well because Costco had no pork, chicken, or most beef items.  But they did have prime packers ... so here we go!

12# in the bag - then what a hack job 😕

    hoping for some beginners luck

Sounds like the lack of other proteins did you a great service by pushing you into the deep end. Be sure to circle back with your results.

Don’t forget that there will be a protracted stall (probably at about 160 IT or so, at which point you’ll want to decide whether you wish to wrap or not) and that you’ll want to start poking for doneness at around 190, with 210 or so being about the highest you’ll want to take it. Finally, don’t forget the FTC (“foil, towel, cooler”) for a few hours before slicing.

    Enjoy the ride.

Had some major National Geographic things going on in the pond behind our house.  Saw a Sandhill Crane take down a Limpkin.

I intervened but it was too late for the Limpkin.  I guess nature is gonna nature.  I did see a Limpkin nest w 5 eggs in it when I got close.  We'll see how the Great Bird War of 2020 ends up.

American Badass.  The number of MOH given the 5th Group MACV during Vietnam was insane.

Definitely not reading some covid science, as that sort of thing is not permitted around here.

@Legume -  I enjoy the Colonel's small batch as well although the local boutique stores jack the price right up there.
