Helped Helbel in her rose garden. She informed me that this one is named for Dolly Partin. The bloom is as big as a softball. I get it.

Helped my egging neighbor preserve 1 case of fresh tomatoes - 13 quart jars done today. Doing another case tomorrow, weather permitting.
Practiced social distancing - we broke the job into parts we could do separately: cooking and peeling the tomatoes was done by husband and wife neighbors indoors; sterilizing the jars, rings, and lids was my job, done outdoors using a Bayou Classic Liquid Propane Double Burner and two large pots. Then they moved outdoors to finish the job.Putting the lemon juice, salt, and cooked tomatoes in the sterilized jars done by neighbors wife; putting lids and rings on the filled jars was my job, and putting all the jars back in the water filled pots on the double burner to seal was my egging neighbors job. Finished product - all sealed.
