@SamIAm2 That's my plan - I have a bunch more. I was going to wilt them in bacon drippings, then mix the crumbled bacon and some chopped hard boiled homegrown eggs. Maybe add a drizzle of balsamic.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

I’m sitting here pissed I can’t have people over. I miss my friends. Just having a moment for an mental temper tantrum.
I know we’re doing the right thing. I have to be careful with a spouse with a weakened immune system. But dagnabit I miss my students, my friends, and my church family.
Rant over. About to cook supper. Bourbon later.
Or you could bourbon now and rant later, as many of us do. 😊

It is a matter of if the nursery has the plants that you want to grow. I doubt any nursery around here has Jamaican Scotch Bonnet peppers like I have under grow lights now. Or the Craig’s Grande Jalapeños. No tomatoes this year other than one store bought one. Not all hobbies come down to money or we would be using Kingsford Matchlight briquettes and Webers.

Easy now. It’s also a great teaching moment with the kiddos and very rewarding to start from seeds. @SonVolt commented on the price of plants at Lowe’s and that was what I was aiming my comment at.  I planted habanero, jalapeños, Trinidad, Holy Moly, green and red bell, poblanos and sriracha I know I am missing a few.

My wifes Grandma used to make dandelion wine. She doesn't drink so a few jugs were stored downstairs in her basement. When we went to move her out we found them. She thought they were 30-40 years old. A few of us cracked one open and gave it a try.

Yes it's a "wild" deer. It's mother was hit by a car and one of the neighbors raised.  They let it loose this spring.

There's a difference between drinking it in front of grandma and with your friends. Your friends will let you drink it until you go blind. Grandma will offer you a small cup and some potato sausage with it.

Decided to go full beast mode on the fries. Cheddar jack, blue cheese crumbles, pickled jalepenos and bacon pieces.

That's just about my nacho recipe, 'cept I haven't tried bleu cheese.

  • Chopped up the chicken tenderloins and made a sub. You know, something light

Only ate half, but very much looking forward to finishing it.
I’m going to admit something embarrassing right here and now. Until your post, I had never before realized that there was a piece of the chicken known as a “tenderloin.” Had never previously made any connection when I had seen “chicken tenders.” Thought this just meant tender bits of chicken. 😂
