  • Had not used the Blu-ray player in a couple years, ended up rewiring a bunch of the entertainment system trying to get it to work.

Then watched Ford vs Ferrari....man, what a great flick. Joker is next in the queue.
Re: Ford v. Ferrari. I know, right? That’s why I’d started a thread recommending it.

It snowed yesterday, and I finally got around to shoveling my driveway this afternoon.  I saw these in my back yard, and can't for the life of me figure out what caused them.  Any ideas?

My random guess is birds were dragging their feet in the snow while taking off.

@nolaegghead Since I am old, in my youth I wanted a Studebaker Avanti.  By the time I could afford one, the production line had ceased and desisted.  And life moves on.

    Power lines dropping snow/ ice?
    I think you confirmed it.
The power line shadows you see in the pic actually run across the back of my property.  BUT, there are two lines that run from my juniper (upper left) to the corner of my house (lower right); it would also explain the sharp bend in the track at bottom center of the pic (a broken icicle).
My buddy from SoCal, Bunny, actually suggested this (don't know that he's ever even seen snow!)  Some of you may actually have his work in your home: he composed/recorded/mixed many of the tracks in Guitar Hero.

I was streaming through my local provider Windsteam and it was terrible. Same issues you have. I swapped to YouTubeTV and haven’t had a problem since.

@Botch You have another vote for snow from the power lines.  As soon as I saw the first post of you asking, that is what Immediately came to mind, and I recognized the pattern. I remember seeing those marks at the bus stop when I was young and the snow came off the lines.
I am dating myself now. That is when 1) you walked 300 yards to a bus stop 2) you waited alone or with other grade school aged kids for the bus without adults around because they were smart and stayed inside the house 3) school was not canceled unless it snowed at least 4” and was still coming down at pickup time.
But I will say I was lucky because no hills were involved other than my parents driveway.

Way way OT, so anticipating flags - but I sense you are all desperate to learn of my perspective about Megxit, the departure of Prince Harry from the inner Royal circle.   Frankly, I would struggle to care any less if I tried.

A brief synopsis; Prince Harry - an impressive chap with genuine military service, cause of the Invictus Games and passionate supporter of people with mental ill-health, marries and starts a family and then makes a decision to prioritise his family.

He’s going to live amongst our semi-French moose chasing friends over in ‘Canadia’.  Lucky lad, I would do the same.

Just a shame its knocked Prince Andrew out of the limelight.  Conspiracy, anyone???

Other girls may try to take me away
But you know, it's by your side I will stay

@gonepostal - That is a mighty fine brisket right there.  Sourced from Australia it reads??  Enjoy the cook and especially the follow-on eats.  Hope those who consume can appreciate what you are serving.
