    I have tried the same thing. The Apple folks look at me in the Apple store, make the judgement of mouth breathing, knuckle dragging,  luddite, and ask me to leave.

    I have a galaxy. I am happy.

    One more round of fixtures before it’s another international break.  So let’s hope there’s thrills aplenty tide us over.

    Saturday lunchtime;

    Spurs are in disarray after getting smashed 7-2 by Bayern in the week.  This is disappointing for me as they head to Brighton with the distinct possibility that the Seagulls might expose the fissures.   No-one wants that.  Brighton have been at best bland.  Surely Spurs can summon enough appetite to see hem off?  1-2 for Spurs.  But I am not confident.

    Proper o’clock matches;

    Burnley - Everton.  Tough one for Everton, they have injuries and inconsistency on their side.  Burnley are resolute.  2-1

    Big game alert : Liverpool v Leicester.   Is this the match where the Reds don’t win for the first time?  Possibly - but I think Brendan and his ego might just get found out themselves here. The media are all of a fluster about it, but I think Liverpool’s back line will soak the pressure and then 2 breakaway goals by the best front-line in the league keeps the points at Anfield.  2-0

    Norwich - Villa.  The visitors just can’t see off games and Norwich will fancy this one,  being much better at home than away.  1-1 for most of the match then Norwich kill it in the last five minutes.  2-1

    Watford - Sheff U.  People are worried for Watford,  I am not - because they are hoofing chancers who shouldn’t be in the PL.  The longer their misery goes on the better.   0-2 to the Blades and the ‘Ornets starting thinking about yet another manager before Christmas.

    Tea-time sees Palace head to West Ham, who have strung together a series of results meaning they are a form team.  Palace have accrued an astonishing (for Palace) points total for this stage of the season.  Normality resumes and West Ham take this 2-1.  Meh.

    In the Championship now and (recent) birthday boy @Eoin is hoping for one last gift.  Three points away at the league-topping Swansea is a big ask but if ever there was a time to upset the odds, its now.  Our dear correspondent was bereft after the mid-week defeat to the team above them.  The volume of stats based WhatsApp messages I got reflected a man apoplectic with rage.  Stay strong my friend.  The good times will come again.  Sadly the Swans could well swat Stoke aside, certainly 2-0 - hopefully no more.

    Sunday, Arsenal have not quite got this ‘winning matches’ thing nailed.  They do it quite often, but failing to beat Utd last time out was a missed opportunity.  With Bournemouth coming to town they can expect a rough ride and a very physical encounter.  2-2.

    This week Man City will beat….. Wolves 3-0

    Southampton just have not got going this season and free-flowing non-defending Chelsea in town, this could be their chance to get a bit of swagger back.  They won’t because Chelsea will find a way to score more than Saints. 3-1

    Two disconsolate teams meet to conclude the fixture list.  Man Utd go to Newcastle. Both teams are wobbling and weighed down by histories and big fan bases.  This could easily be a tepid 0-0.  Man Utd might get one and hold on - but nil all feels about right.

    Remember - its international break next weekend so look out for the big games, like; Andorra v Moldova  and Liechtenstein v Armenia!

    Buffalo Hot Wings today:

    I used the baking powder technique to get crispy skin, but did two wings with baking soda instead; a couple folks mentioned using that, and marked them with a toothpick.  Ugh, it wasn't even close, I much preferred the BP wings.  I may have used too much Baking Soda (heh, have to spell that one out), but I tried to keep the coatings the same amount.  I put a little DP Jamaican Firewalk in with the rub, but along with the Wing Sauce it got to be a bit too much.  Raised direct at 375º, turned once, about 30 minutes with pecan smoke.  Dill pickles and Harissa beans to complete.

    My wing sauce didn't look quite right, its just 50% melted butter and 50% Frank's, right?  Mine looked darker than it should've, and was incredibly greasy; am I doing it wrong?

    Thanks for looking!

    Into LEO but just after launch and still amazed with people who don't use nouns to clarify conversations.  I routinely get bombarded with pronouns like I am expected to know who "she, he, them, her, him  etc") are without a clue on the front end.   Nouns for clarity.  Works every time and especially focused when names are in the game.  Off minor soap-box. (Edit:  I loathe the concept/word "assume" so I refuse to subscribe to taking that approach to self solving the pronoun deal.)
