don’t know if there’s many/any powerlifting enthusiasts in the community but it’s a very satisfying sport as long as you’re smart and don’t snap your back :-)

Not a powerlifter, but do as much as I can on the machines twice a week.  I'm old enough now that my total weight is declining, very slightly, year by year, but I can still lift the whole stack of weights on a few of the machines.
    Still ugly, though.    :|   ;)

Since my family ate all my enchiladas, I pulled a salmon portion out of the freezer. My wife and kids love salmon. I am petty. I guess it's a win win.

So just thumbed through my Instagram feed and saw that Jess Pryles got married over the weekend.  I wondered if men pout about their WCW's getting hitched like women do with their MCM's.  Seriously doubt it.

Learn something new dang near every day here.  I had to google the above to improve my knowledge base.  For me, since I wasn't invited "WGAF".  FWIW-

@thetrim reads like you are either a warfighter or into exercise...Forced marches are quite a challenge on targets and submarnes.   B)

FWIW, I've been on three cruises.  Two with Royal Caribbean (One 5 day; one 7 day) and one with Carnival (Four day).  I gained weight on each one.

    That’s moving pretty good.
  • Hanging out with no power. Fridge and coffee maker on the generator (1hr on, 4 off). I’d start getting drunk but might have to deal with falling trees later when Dorian closes in. Thank God I’m not downtown where the kayakers are.

It wouldn’t be bad if it was just rush hour. That’s all driving. It’s 15 miles to work and it takes an hour as long as I leave by 7. Plus I’m OTP north like 10 miles and work in peachtree corners so never really get near Atlanta. Can’t imagine the people inside the perimeter.

How are conditions out there?  My in-laws aren’t there right now, but their house is off of Johns Island

  • Wind gusts up around 50 they’ll get up to 70 later on when she makes the turn. I’m in a high spot no flooding at all. They should be in good shape in Johns Island, trees would be their only exposure. Tides only getting about two feet higher than the King tides we had earlier in the week. Downtown floods at a spring high tide, the extra two feet is a problem there.

I suddenly feel much better about my commute. Its 38 miles each way but I can get to work in a little over an hour and Dallas has some of the worst traffic in the country.

I occasionally have commute problems as I head downstairs to my office.

I try to work thru it with a good attitude. It can be hazadous when carrying a cup of coffee.
    Ha Ha! ^^^^^

used to have a cat that liked to do this on the stairway at night, stepping on a cat barefoot in the dark was extremely hazardous
