Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...

Got the deck all pressure washed. Thinking I may redo with composite. Got some steaks roasting. And I’m pretty much drunk. But, I didn’t overdo on an empty stomach, unlike some folks.

Getting a headache. Literally every pet that has come in tonight REEKS of stale cigarettes. The smell has been overpowering both in the exam rooms and even on the pet once taken into treatment area....
Time to take a tylenol and some sinus meds
And I'm also cussing ....because in dealing with millennials it's amazing how they post their temper tantrums on Facebook and expect everyone to give into their demands....when actually it works against them....but I'm just going to let them keep on thinking......one ER has already put them in their place....probably about to be a second
And in frustrated as I'm dealing with the above instead of on my porch enjoying the first cool fall air and watching the Auburn game....ps I got told the score before I could watch it on TIVO... -
My wife wanted some steak..

Felt like biscuits, but too lazy to roll and cut. Very tasty with butter and homemade marmalade made with grapefruit from a colleague’s trees.

@caliking Homemade grapefruit marmalade? I’ve made lots of jams and jellies but never with grapefruit. Very intriguing.

Definitely try it.
I love grapefruit, and earlier this year a colleague said she had more grapefruit than she knew what to do with. She gave me about 5-6 dozen nearly seedless grapefruit from her trees, with the condition that I would give her a few jars of marmalade.
I think I used the recipe in the new Ball book, but used 2/3rd the amount of sugar, and less pectin. Ended up with a more loose texture than marmalade usually is, but with very bright grapefruit flavor. Starting with homegrown fruit really made a difference IMO.

My youngest, who never wants to eat real food, asked me to cook steak and corn on the cob for dinner. I said no, we are going to grab take out. She gave me a look.
Now I am getting ready to fire up the grill for steak and and corn on the cob.Las Vegas, NV -

I am not a mac and cheese guy, but might be if I had some good stuff. Never made it on the egg. Actually, never made it in my life that I can remember other than out of a box when a few kids stayed over.
Maybe one day I will have some of the good stuff.--------------------------------------------------
