Haven’t had beef ribs in awhile (sadly these are the best available in my area compared to yalls brisket sticks). So decided that’s what I wanted for our first preseason game
Just thank the good lord football's back! -
Know how when you buy a bag of pre-washed, healthy, pre-chopped green salad, but then three days later its brown and slimy at the bottom?

Watching the wife decide if the dog’s feet smell like Fritos. Apparently they do. Something about bacteria. I was asked to participate, but declined.

@theyolksonyou , all dogs’ feet smell like Fritos. Well known fact.
-
@JohnnyTarheel I'll do it slowly and then sear. Not too slow though, because Anne likes beef well done, so I do want a decent layer well done for her.

I mean, what goes on chez 'yolk' is no concern of mine. And the picture is a good one, don't get me wrong. Just that your comment and the picture appear to my untrained eye as only very loosely correlated.
I don't want to pick holes in what I am sure is an accurate and lucid account but;
1) no dog,
2) no dog's feet
3) no head on person in picture - we all know what that means, no head, no nose, no sniff - them's the rules.
4) no comparative sample of Fritos
5) no bacteria wranglers, and we all know they are required to be present under union conditions (as agreed in the Vermont Convention of 1989)
6) slippers left at jaunty angle, suggesting a ballet enthusiast has recently departed the scene.
I will give you a while to reflect upon your earlier statement and consider if you need to adjust any components.
Other girls may try to take me away
But you know, it's by your side I will stay -
I know that oil money is atrocious and corrosive and all that, but at the end of the day, it is so much fun to watch Man City play football. Even if they aren’t playing that well.

Pork two ways on the MiniMax.
A gift from my egging neighbor, which turned into lunch:
Then this bone in, 1/2 pork shoulder started for pulled pork. To be added Instant Pot Mexican Pinto Beans for church pot luck tomorrow.
Resting now after a 5 hour cook at 350 degrees.

Pork now pulled, added to Instant Pot Mexican Pinto Beans, and now finished.
Moved to Crock Pot for transport tomorrow morning. Had a small bowl to make certain it would pass muster. It did.Ubi panis, ibi patria.

Lecturing myself on the importance of not forgetting sugar covered fruit on the Egg while prepping other things, especially after cranking up the temp.
Funny thing is, they are still very tasty. Like smoked dried apricots. Weird. It's "Smokin Gal", not "Smoking Al".
