I agree with SonVolt, dude is obviously trolling.  Even people in NYC acknowledge their BBQ is sparse and about as good as Guy Flavor Town's was.

You know what makes NYC BBQ superior to all the rest? Donkey Sauce.

Naw, that's not what they're known for, they are much more subtle. You must be confusing NY with Texas where everything is bigger and, like a loud vegetarian at a party, they will tell you...unsolicited.

I take your point @nolaegghead , but you may be the first person ever to describe New Yorkers as "subtle".

Sausages pickled and made for NCAA first round weekend in the mountains...

Am I the only person who saw this and said out loud;  'What the ****?'
and then realised they were pickled sausages?

    Took fully cooked Johnsonville sausages.
     Boil jars and lids..
Bring white vinegar to a boil
Added tsp of garlic, and slices of habanero and jalapeño to each jar
Add hot vinegar to fill jar

Very simple process and so good to let it sit 3 weeks or so before eating

Which johnsonville? We mostly have the bratwurst here, and some pre cooked smoked stuff.

Trying to shake off this pestilence.  I haven't been this sick in years.  Missed last two days of work.
I don't know if I'm more happy or disappointed that no one 'LIKED' this.

I'm a NOLA fan (because this fvcker can cook)(many times hilarious)(not always), and also fan of many his lesser appreciative's.

We did the jalapeño cheddar and the beef smoked ones. They both are great and taste different.
