LSU beat the national champs, so does that make them the new (alternative) national champs?

LSU shoulda really put it to 'em but self-destructed inside the offensive end 20 yard line too many times.  Still the win.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Take the obvious bias and poor calls out of the game, give LSU their ejected players back, their cornerback who didn’t play due to going pro and LSU would of easily won by 60 points or more if they wanted to.
Also compare the “cupcake” schedule that UCF plays during the year to the ferious SEC schedule that LSU has to play. At the end of the year LSU is broken down and banged up due to having to play the behemoths in the SEC. UCF is basically fresh from simply playing against cupcakes and the equivalent of high schoolers. That in itself is really not fair.
How good do you think that UCF would look this late in the year if they would of had to play Bama, Georgia, Auburn and LSU this season instead of cupcakes? There would be nothing left of them. Unfortunately this is what happens to the SEC every year. They obliterate and annihilate each other and then end up playing a team that has has a free ride all year. Not getting off on a rant here, just pointing out why LSU didn’t massacre UCF. The LSU that you saw play today is what’s left of LSU after coming through the vicious SEC schedule.

You realize that was our backup quarter back. Both teams healthy LSU would never blow out UCF. If anything that game today showed how over rated the SEC really is to barely beat a team with basically no quarterback.

What are you talking about if there wasn’t that celebrating penalty after UCF stopped them on 3rd down UCF would have beat them with their backup quarterback.
  • LSU was the better team today, both had players out but UCF kept on shooting themselves in the foot and could not get any offense going in the 2nd half (credit to LSU D). Our (RS) Freshman backup QB has some talent but he’s got a way to go to get on Milton’s level. Good game overall and congrats to LSU

God, Georgia, so far, is an embarrassment to the SEC.  And they thought it wasn't fair they weren't in the playoffs?!
