  • Organizing stuff in the shop...
I was looking at these in the HD just the other day. Right now I’ve got my fastener hardware organized in old fashioned screw cabinets attached to either side of a metal cabinet. This would make everything more accessible but I’m concerned where they’ll go. I don’t need something taking up any more floor space. I’d need to find a shelf somewhere.  :s

Getting ready to fry up 2 turkey breasts. Just pulled them out of a 28 hour brine. Letting them come up to room temp before hitting the hot oil.

@Legume in today's language I guess it's called an Italian tune-up.  Need more road or run in second or third gear (tops) to sustain the revs over-time/distance.  Still fun-and a solo event for me.  No distractions needed.
    Happy Thanksgiving.

Speaking of cash, when dealing with small-time contractors, I will ask for a quote on a job.  Once that's in hand, I'll ask what would it be in all cash.  With wives doing the books oftentimes, dudes need a way to squirrel some away for other, ummm, hobbies.  Usually gets me at least 10% off.
I always thought that was because they could hide it from the tax man.  A few repairmen I use also ask for checks to be written out in their name, not their company's name, I assume for the same reason.

Just returned from a spirited drive on a few country roads.  Very little traffic and no LEO (the law kind) out there.  Cleaned out the carbon.
    Happy Thanksgiving.
Nice!  I haven’t heard the carbon reference in a while.  My Dad used to used to say that to my Mom when he’d mash the pedal in our ‘70s Malibu wagon and she’d protest.

Fire lit and stabilizing.  Two big cracks in the XL base now (2nd happened last night).  I’m bringing it up to temp a little more slooowly today.

We’re dinner time thanksgiving dinner eaters around here.  Also allows time for kids to spend time w/in-laws, GF family, etc.

Frying up somebody bacon in the backyard for green beans and tossed one chunk of cherry on the egg just so I could smell it rather than just lump.

Something is missing, I need a Bloody Mary.
    Love you bro!

Wondering if I should bring this to Butt Blast.

Not really. Just think it's cool.
