Any recommendations for good grub in Jacksonville FL? Working here the next couple of days....
Clarks Fish Camp 12903 Hood Landing rd.
Many , many very good meals there over the last 25 years. Last time I was there there was rabbit , quail, gator and rattlesnake on the menu. Steaks are legendary and so is the seafood. Not a place for PETA fans though, Lot's of taxidermy on the walls.

Thank you sir. Will give it a go this evening if I get out of the lab in time.
Should be a good time. Beautiful old place built out over the water. They say it's the largest privet taxidermy collection in North America. If you are really hungry they used to offer a Jack's cut steak that was free if you finished it. Check out the Call of the Wild apps.
I have been working down here, not too frequently, but a project that I have recently been assigned, requires the immediate use of all lab space we have, kind of a "all hands on deck" situation for me.
I usually take the lab rats out to dinner, and they seem to opt for chain restaurants, which, when you travel frequently, it adds blah to nothing great.
I kind of have spots in all the other cities where our labs are located, but not here.
    Thank you for the help.

I’m OK with that if they’re saving it for a family member.  Otherwise they should be pushed out the emergency exit, like in mid-flight.

A person pre boarded a flight I was on, because of a supposed need. He went straight to the emergency rows and started saving seats.
SW told him to move. He refused. The captain came out, explained in detail the rules and the law. He still refused.
He was removed by airport security, and his family or friends did not board the flight either.
It was almost comical to watch this transpire, and equally humorous to watch folks trip over themselves rushing to get those seats.

Do your low cost airlines have completely unllocated seating? Ours have wised up to the money making opportunities available and randomly allocate seating. If you want to sit together, you have to book a seat and pay. If you want front row or emergency exit, there's a premium seat payment.

1st ever swim meet.  Justin took it up this year as a junior.  Should be.... interesting.  I’ll give him this, they practice 6 days a week.  If they don’t for some reason, he works out dry land at home.  Most committed to any sport he’s ever been.

SouthWest has a fairly unique seating "system".  Passengers aren't assigned a seat but rather a spot to board.  For most people, your spot in line is determined by how quickly you register for boarding within the 24-hr period before the flight.  In essence, if you want a good spot in line you have to be sitting by your computer or phone exactly one day in advance so that you can log on to their system and get your boarding pass.

Then what you do is basically take any open seat once you're on the plane.  This is good in the sense that you have some choice in where to sit, and can avoid sitting next to that morbidly obese person who has also brought an entire bag of fries from Mickey D's with them on the plane.  Unless you're the last in line, in which case you're friggin screwed.

Finally you can pay a little more (like $25) to fly "business class" with them, which basically just gives you a spot close to the very front of the line.

The only airline I've seen here which operates how you describe is Frontier.  They give you a random seat unless you're willing to pay some amount to pick the one you want, with price a function of location and desirability.

SWMBO is a Grant Manager for the Office of Research Administration at IU. She has her hands in just about every award awarded to IU. She has some cool stories.

She recently had a professor changing Universities and he needed to dispose of the 30lbs of some special strain of marijuana he's been working on. The DEA gladly took it off their hands.

My apologies on the above referencing a pseudo, imaginary force with "centrifugal".

Bet it smells fantastic where you are.
Brings back memories of apiculture class. After using the hot knife to slice off the caps, we separated the wax from the honey, and used the wax to re-waterproof leather gloves and boots. Worked great.

    Haha.  Funny guy.

I've been reading up on the company and their products, and it seems pretty clear that it's a bunch of BS.  Personally I think even the keto diet itself is kind of questionable, but that's not a fight I care about.  But regardless, there doesn't seem to be any real ability for some kind of supplement to help you get into ketosis.  It is about as close to modern day snake-oil as you'll find, unfortunately.

It wasn’t so much the sheer size of this guy, but more his complete lack of self awareness or appreciation for appreciating the personal space of those around him

FWIW, tomorrow is National Nacho Day!  I’m on the road, so I can’t cook anything, but I would happily vote if some has a Nacho Day throwdown.
