Thanks @bgebrent, @GATraveller and @NC_Egghead .  The sentimental side was tough because I've been content here and im not pissed off and showing my arse like at previous exits  :o . But I'll be moving forward working side by side with boarded surgeons and internists in a state of the art facility.
Boarded surgeon here.  Congrats and keep the standards irrefutable.

Made an attempt to sort out the peace out threads.  I don't get it, and I'm ok with that.

I can't believe how short your election cycle is with these mid term elections, the campaigning must drive you all mad.

Standing in line ready t do my duty. It does drive me mad but not enough people vote. The worst part is listening to the constant barrage of nasty ads on tv and radio. I'll be happy to get this one behind us.

I am headed out after work.

I do not care who you like, dislike, what party you are affiliated with or what your beliefs are. I am not making this a political post.

I am celebrating that today is here and that barrage of political “things” (lumping all phone calls, TV ads, street signs etc... together) and they will be over this evening. I can not wait. @eoin it does drive me mad.

Then we go back to car ads, laundry detergent and weight loss commercials.

I really have to remember to DVR more in August and Sept, so I can fast forward through everything the second half of Sept through Election Day.

People should always vote, I always do over here regardless of whether it's a national or local election.  You can't complain about the result if you don't participate.
Exactly.  The turnout for the last presidential election was a record YET 40% of registered voters stayed home.  I can't fathom that!!

Been doing this since 2015 mid-term elections. Got tired of having to get thru the gated entrance full of signs and folks “encouraging” me to select their candidate of choice by waving signs thus blocking my vision in and out on a very busy road. Current law here restricts them to 100 feet from the entrance “door”. Should be 500 feet from the nearest precinct entrance for voters, in my opinion.  One stamp to avoid this.
