Watching MNF - congrats to Brees a heluva player and a true class act.

The NFL has become extremely difficult to watch.

It’s become ridiculous.  A.  You can’t make a football hit.  B. You can’t celebrate a touchdown.  At least they’ve sped up the calls.

Went to Charlotte today for a meeting with the Genius fold at Apple. I had to leave my iPhone with them for about an hour for a warrentee repair. I walked around for a while before finding me a nice comfortable chair in one of the atrium areas. Now mind you I had to go to the big city, as Columbia doesn’t have a Apple store. So I am sitting there people watching for about 30 min. I look over and what do I see but a store dedicated to shaving. I about fell out the damn chair. A store in a high rent mall selling shaving stuff. I didn’t enter but did shake my head. @SGH .....

Made a roast in the oven today.  Probably the best roast I've done to date.  The new Le Creuset was a joy.

SpaceX just landed a first stage on land for the first time on the west coast ( at Vandenberg). Cool to watch via streaming but I really need to plan a trip to see that in person sometime.
Got up at 0230 to see a night launch when I was TDY at Vandenberg, beautiful evening but the launch got scrubbed at the last minute.  :bawling:
I've worked on the Space Shuttle boosters for 2 years and ICBMs for about 12, but have yet to see a big bird fly (seen a few static firings at Thiokol).
While I was in Kwaj I got to see some of the RVs from minuteman-III lot testing splash down at night.  Most amazing colors as the re-entry vehicles burn through the atmosphere.

@thetrim came into NOLA this afternoon, trekked towards my crib from his fancy business district hotel, via the ferry.  Nearly soaked, but not quite, I picked him up from the ferry and drove the last 8 blocks to my crib where we watched history made, as Drew Brees broke the all time NFL passing yards record.

Steve is a classy guy in my book (as long as you don't talk politics...hahaha...and we didn't).  Great conversation and passed a great evening.  I can embrace folks over the isle, as he, and I urge everyone to do so to make this country more civil.

Brisket camp a week from next Sat!  Geaux Saints!!!

@northGAcock yea we are. We will take a sunrise  over a sunset any day of the week.

They just delayed boarding for the next flight by 20 mins. Apparently the First officer was on the way here and his wife went in labor. Now our flight needs a new first officer.

All other staff present and waiting at the gate.

This could not take to long now, could it?
