@JohnInCarolina Biscuit Head!  Brisket biscuit was killer! Great breakfast joint.
I think that may be the place we’re eyeing for breakfast one of the mornings.

Looking for a sticky trap I put out beside the egg after seeing some rat droppings. Can't find it anywhere. There's a rat on the loose with a sticky pad stuck to his foot.

Got up at 0230 to see a night launch when I was TDY at Vandenberg, beautiful evening but the launch got scrubbed at the last minute.  :bawling:

Headed back to Dallas tomorrow morning. You know, for as many toll roads in the area, you'd think they'd have immaculate road conditions. We hit a pothole in Irving that I thought was going to total our rental car.  The whole area's roads looks like an earthquake tore through there.  The BBQ makes up for it though.

    Don't forget Tupelo Honey.
Already been - it’s good too!  But Biscuit Head is the only place in town that routinely has lines around the block.

Love Biscuit Head too!  We got there before they opened and filled up quickly, but we didn't have to wait in line.  We got like four items so we could share.  The chicken biscuit I had was phenomenal.

That's what we get for having a booming local economy and too many people moving here. Road congestion and infrastructure repairs constantly. They are probably not going to get to that pot hole for 5 years.

Well, given the fact that you were in/near Irving, it sounds like you weren't actually on a toll road ;)

But yeah, they could bother to invest a few more $$$ in the infrastructure.

On the way to pick up wine, ice cream, and steak.  My wife and I made a vet appointment that we’re pretty sure this girl won’t come home from.

That is one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen live - not in Tijuana.

I saw when they landed two of the three stage one Rockets for the Falcon Heavy over in Cape Canaveral.  The third was on their docking ship in the Atlantic.

Sorry to hear that @Acn. I hope the steak is for her, the wine is for you, and you all share the ice cream. Everyone likes Ice cream.

We didn't tour the brewery but the spot itself is really great.  Right along the river, plenty of seating space, food truck, relatively easy parking compared to most places in Asheville (provided you arrive early enough).

How to properly enjoy pumpkin beer

1: dump out pumpkin beer and get a real beer.
    2: consume real beer.
