Wondering why Oz keeps changing his profile pic. Now I have to read the thread titles instead of just looking for a familiar pic. Costs me at least 20 seconds.

Painting. Is it odd that I like trimming? I find it  meditative.

Nope, as long as the roller (SWMBO) isn't rushing to get done :)

I changed it to celebrate Cinco De Mayo.  You do bring up a good point.  Maybe I will stop my Google Doodle mimicking.

@NC_Egghead that's most likely a sand tiger shark, definitely not a nurse.

One of those catch up around the house days. Cleaned floor in outdoor kitchen, mixed sourdough, mixed naan dough, changed tires on bicycle, nodded in agreement about whatever my wife was talking about...
Most of that should end well.
    Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

@YukonRon I probably should rethink that strategy.

Started the Kentucky Derby Neighborhood Rib Throwdown. Hoping all goes well. Entering BBs and StL.
Everyone knows I talk a lot of shid, and it has been no different each of the last 5 victorious years, so I have several hopeful contestants gunning for me now, which, for them will end with the bitter taste of an asz whipping defeat.

Used maple peach brandy as a coating base for the blended rubs.......

Using a pineapple molasses tomato base for final sauce with a 35 year aged basalmic

Shids getting real.....if I win this year, all the other contestants will hate me more than everything combined that they have ever hated before.

Because I been talkin major shid for the last year....

It's gonna be quite a ride.  The weather guessers should be run out of town.  Can't wait for the excuses...
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Shrimp, beats, steak, and garlic.  Steak is already pulled.

Wettest Derby ever, 2.61" today, thus far. No rain my asz. Our daughter is in the infield.
The same bourbon we used at BBIII, is the same as what they are pouring at the Derby.

Saw Beets on Iron Chef Gauntlet and decided to try them.  Got regular red Beets and Golden Beets.  EVOO, salt, pepper, then roast.  These were done at 600 due to steak and shrimp so they took about 35 minutes.  Softened them right up and good earthy flavor.  Next time I will go 400 till tender.  I used the pepper trick, put in ziplock for 10min while hot so skin just peels off.

Wanted something a bit different, they hit the mark.
