Don't work too hard....given you are in the land of the grapes.
I have a couple of clients that will be breaking open some 2007s for a celebration I have been asked to attend. After the grueling day of work and travel, I will have dinner with them, and I do not remember if I had shared this previously, or not, but these are the guys that convinced me to purchase a BGE.
I made My Beautiful Wife drive me to a dealer, immeditely after getting off the plane a few years ago, to purchase my XL.

About to read the last Sports Illustrated subscription magazine issue I just received after 40+ years as a subscriber.  I have slowly transitioned away from the not so timely print media (a sign of the times) and now consume dang near everything on line.

I've been cooking for a few families the last week or so.  I'm not a care giver but I can support those who are with food.  My Sis N Law brought over a few racks of ribs and a nice brisket.  I asked when do they want them?  I've got a great family!

Got it a little too done,  but been along time since I cooked something that thick.

Looks great!  An overcooked steak is still steak, and worthy of eating.

Picked up a nail in a tire last night, so my trip across the State is delayed until it gets fixed up!  Hope I can drive while it’s still light out.

Is it just me, or do days seem a little better when you know a TriTip is getting happy in the hot tub?

My wife got pulled over in a work zone last weekend and was looking at a $300 ticket. Fortunately her car was sitting in the garage waiting on parts for a recall. So she had to take the 2001 Chevy Lumina that she named the "Battle Axe". It's rusty, crusty, with paint peeling. (My mother in laws old car we saved from the junkyard. Spare beater car) I love the damn car. I can park it anywhere without worrying about a thing. Scratches and dents just add to the character of it. Not a care in the world. People probably feel bad that I drive that pile around. I dig it though.

I can guarantee the beater Lumina got my wife out of a $300 ticket this past weekend. The officer even said, "I'm thinking you could probably use that $300 elsewhere". Don't hide that rust. Be proud of it! It might just get you out of a ticket!  ;)
This is great V.  I too love my beater.  It has paid for itself once over.  Will be a sad day pulling the plug.  At 129K, we're not close.

Got the KJ Jr around 400*, setup raised direct.

Put on some boneless skinless chicken thighs seasoned with SPOGP and poured a beverage:

After a bit, I flipped them

And then when they were almost done, I sauced them

    And then they were done

And then we ate, no pictures of that.

And now, since I outsource my lawn mowing:

    I am watching baseball:

Wish I could have weather like this year round.

Might need to do that, this Phillies game is getting a bit boring, they're up 11-1 bottom of the 6th.
