@eggcelsior - if you were coming in for punk you probably went to the Black Cat a lot as well. I definitely spent a good bit of time at the 9:30 too, especially after that period. I started grad school @ GW in 99 and most of the people from my program lived in foggy bottom or dupont, so we'd get cheap eats around the campus, go to the fox and hound to load up on cheap drinks, and then to ESL to (try to) meet and/or impress girls. After leaving GW I spent much more time at the 9:30, or on the Hill or Arlington.

Just got this one tonight:Kind've a "greatest hits", but over a 30-year period, all duets. My audiophile mag said this had incredible recording quality (it doesn't) but there's some great duets and songs here. I'd play this one with pride at an Eggfest.___________
