2013 Rub & Sauce Exchange - Show Off Thread

Originally I started making this with SoCo rather than Triple Sec, I liked it but the boss prefers the sweetness of the Triple Sec. Sort of a take on the Alabama Slammer cocktail. 

Never used my syphon for anything but whipped cream. You have just opened a whole new world. Never even thought of adding alcohol. Taking it to the family reunion in a couple weeks for sure. My sister says the Vanilla was the best gift she got last Christmas. Will have to do another batch. You got the last of the 2012 vintage. In addition to Absolut, I also made some with Jack Daniels - totally different taste but also fantastic.

Funny this topic came up. My FIL busted me doing a whippet after putting whipped cream on my key lime pie the other night. By the end of the night he was hitting them.

Well folks, back from vacation and appears Santa dropped by the house. I believe Santa is none other than Travis Strickland!! Thanks for the badass assortment. You really went above and beyond and was pumped to get some tastes of Texas. Package included Franklins espresso BBQ sauce and Texas style sauce, Blues Hog Smokey mountain and honey mustard sauce, salt licks chipotle BBQ sauce and oiginal dry rub, some candy Krispy jalapeños and some jalapeño stuffed olives. Glad ya like it NOLA! Sorry in the delay in posting my haul from you NOLA, got your treasure chest last Thursday but was busy prepping for a weekend contest. You did me right. Every one of these is new to my pantry. I am seeing blackened walleye in my very near future! Here's my haul from NOLA everybody.
