    Pressure washing coolers and cambro’s. Good thing I’m drenched. Everyone stay safe with the heat. It’s no joke.

    I would love to have a dock!! That is long term plan.  This is a dog grooming station.  Brush them, trim them, wash them, blow dry them.  All done without bending over (I'm to old for that) or getting hair and stuff everywhere.  My Aussies are literally drowning me in hair and I cannot afford the ~$300/groom session the local places charge for them.  So I plan to do this every few weeks till they get under control.  They haven't been properly groomed or cared for in ages.  This will also double as my scuba gear wash station.

    I'm curious about your water setup.  It looks like you have pumped water going into the spray hose you use for the dogs/scuba gear, but then the exit water goes into the kiddie pool?  If that's a standard 50' hose then the water is probably pretty warm by the time it hits Fido, in Aridzona at this time of year; and is the kiddie pool for them to play in afterwards, or...?

    Good eye.  This location is temporary and pool was used to get an idea of how much water we use for dog wash.  I used a 25’ hose which does get warm in the sun if left for more than 10 minutes without flowing water.  During active washing it stays cool enough.  I had a 50’ hose and they was noticeably warmer.

    At the airport (again).  Headed out to Sandia for a couple of days.  

    There is a guy in the Sky Club here at RDU who is passed out in a chair, and snoring away, lol.  I hope he doesn't miss his flight!

    I’ve been in an oven before, a firebox for a high pressure steam boiler for a paper mill. Hot enough that the floor melted the bottom of my work boots.  But yes it was dry heat, workable 😎

    Was putting a water sealer on the shed base and decided to coat my wooden chairs and tables. F-I-L gave me these about 20 years ago. I treat them with a water seal every few years and they look nearly new - this despite them staying out every year during our harsh winters. He had the same set but didn’t treat his. They were grey within the first year and he’s long since gotten rid of them.

    You were sweating; it just didn't have enough time to bead up and drip down!  
     
    I went to USAF ROTC Summer Training in 1980, McClellan AFB near Sacramento.  The first thing I noticed on the bus ride from the airport was how clear the air was, I thought the flight at altitude (my first) had done something to my eyes.  After the first full day of classes and drills, we cadets each had a 15-minute one-on-one with our FTO (the officer equivalent of a drill sergeant) and first thing he said to me was "Give yourself two demerits, drink more water immediately, and what color was your urine stream this afternoon?"  "uh, it was brown!  How did you know??"  He lightened up a bit and told me he saw my lips were caving in when I walked in the office, then he learned both the temp and humidity in my hometown of Sioux Falls were 98º/98% the day before, and warned me Sacramento was bone-dry desert (that's why the air was so clear!)  
    Had a glass of orange juice, and 3 glasses of coke with breakfast, then seven glasses of coke with lunch.  I got sicker than a dog that afternoon.  "I told you to drink more water!!  Three more demerits!"  I eventually acclimated, and worked off the demerits (no free time that first weekend).  To this day I rarely drink any soda, just iced tea or water.  

    I did get thoroughly hooked on a dry desert climate, and when I left the Air Force I took the first job offer I got in the intermountain West.

    Has anyone else noticed a sudden increase in spam emails?  For many years now I only seemed to get 3 or 4 per week; for the last week or so I'm getting about a dozen a day.  I don't recall making any changes, signing up for anything new, or clicking on any questionable websites.  

     A similar thing has happened to my phone number, albeit on a smaller scale; I would get maybe a couple spam calls per week, now maybe three a day (I'm thankful for the recent changes to iPhone OS to screen calls, those are great!)  

    Anyone else?

    I can change your mind on that whole “walking in an oven thing”. I ran the ovens today. Steam injected ovens change the game on that whole “dry heat” thought

    Making some salsa on the Weber after finishing up pool sessions for diving Stress & Rescue class!  Beautiful day for hanging out with friends and enjoying some good food.  Also used the new dog wash station for cleaning dive gear, which worked great.  Love being able to drive the gear right up to it!
