Honest, after a work team meeting years ago, the clown in me cut out the letters to play Scrabble and came up with IBM***S

sorry to hear about that Ozzie. Many of us have been there.Ozzie_Isaac said:
Wish ours went that way, I loaded up my cooking gear, my hobby stuff, and some clothes. She is at the primary house as this drags on. Businesses are still moving along, but I won’t stay in them long term. We do well when working business together, but I am looking forward to a fresh start.lkapigian said:
Do didn’t know you went through that @Ozzie_Isaac , can be rough can be good … I went through it around 25 years ago….we still own our company together after all these years , we split nothing ( we sold our rentals years after the divorce) I just loaded a couple things in my truck and started fresh, easy peasyOzzie_Isaac said:
Thank you, and absolutely zero complaints. Best thing that could have ever happened to me. Down 50 lbs, and back to all the hobbies and things I set aside years ago. Feel like I’m 20 again and just doing things because they make me happy without worrying about helping someone else emotionally regulate - super freeing.DoubleEgger said:Divorced life seems to be treating you well @Ozzie_Isaac. How? Drivers are expected to park in neutral, the territorial collectors/attendants would push the cars to make room for arrivals or departures

“Donut holes” has never made any sense to me at all. The only hole is in the product they left behind. They’re complete spheres. “Donut wholes” is actually a lot more apt.Botch said:

Have to say I’ve not heard of people cruising Walmarts for girlfriends. That seems ill-advised at best.Botch said:

My family will always refer to them as “Munchkins” since they were introduced with that name at Dunkin’ donuts.GrateEggspectations said:

I hate doughnut holes on principal. They should be doughnut fill or something else, the hole is nothing!lkapigian said:The Traction that Doughnut Holes Get
what, business opportunity, going to ritzy part of town and selling bags of zero calorie doughnut holes …. Just an empty bag for like $30.I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

Doing that would be fascinating.Personally, if it's reasonable, I'd favor anchoring out rather than docking.Still, I've had my boating experience. I quit keeping track of the cost after four years - it was roughly $1k a month, every darn month. After 11 years, I sold the boat.Somewhere on the Colorado Front Range

@DoubleEgger - Great if your situation enables you to make that happen. Getting buy-in will be your major hurdle. Clear that and then it's time to get underway with the macro plan. Details to follow! 🛥️

It’s happening and buy-in was taken care of a long time ago. Just a matter of timing at this point.lousubcap said:@DoubleEgger - Great if your situation enables you to make that happen. You are pursuing the dream right there. Congratulations on a well executed prep work plan, clearly aided by the enjoyment brought by your boat on the lake. The marina lifestyle also is a powerful draw as you well know.
As Leroy "Satchel" Paige said, "don't look back, somethin' might be gainin" on ya!" I envy you and your adventure ahead.

For those of us land-locked losers who are at a loss of what a looper is, apparently it involved sailing a boat up the MS River, navigating thru the Great Lakes (Canadian side included), the Canal, then down the eastern coast, around the FL coast, then back up thru Nawlins to either finish or do it again.
I read the book review on amazoid, was afraid MacOS would tell me Looper is a Cajun/Creole boy band.
