    Just finished watching President Biden's "farewell" speech.  He mentioned a couple accomplishments of his administration up front (cease-fire in israel) but the Democratic party needs to emphasize this more (I maybe should've posted Robert Reich's recent post which was a nice summary).  The majority of the speech was a very dire warning about the oligarchy.  
    I don't have any comments at this time.  All I have ringing in my head is, oddly, the final couple seconds of Michael Jackson's Thriller:  as Vincent Price's diabolical chuckle fades off, you hear the squeeking of of some hinges, and then the final Thud of a coffin's lid.

    Sounds like the happy MSM is somewhere in the middle.  So a cease fire and a hand job or air start, depending on preference.  I will give the text a read in the AM.  
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

    Biden was a great president.  Not perfect.  Definitely glad he didn’t quit politics when the democrats went with Hillary instead of him and lost in 2016.  That probably impacted wanting to run in 2024 quite a bit.
