Slow but relatively good evening. LEO may become a player later but not due to the current environment. It's all good following the hard-charge of Xmas and the run-up.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Ordered Crepes at 3am. Delivered via bike. Tasted pretty good. Almost forgot to get some before I fly out of Paris in a few hours.

An odd commercial on TV (involving an old dog and a guy playing a banjo, no recollection of what they were trying to sell) made me think about a couple things that I owned, that drove my two Corgis into a frenzy, and I don’t know why. One was a Native American flute-kinda instrument, about the size and shape of an ocarina, but made of glazed clay and with only five holes. IF it was built properly, it did not play notes from our Western twelve-tone scale (not surprising); but, it drove my dogs crazy, they would immediately start barking/snarling and jumping on me. They did NOT like that instrument.
But the thing I want to ask about tonight (this Friday between Xmas and NYE is weird, even more so when you’re retired) is a feather duster. I bought one decades ago, it worked better on my A/V equipment and bookcases than an old t-shirt for dusting. But the Corgis went absolutely bonkers when they saw me using it.
Does anyone else here have a dog who goes crazy at the sight of a feather-duster? Yeah, an odd topic for a Friday night, but it’s an odd Friday.___________"When small men begin to cast big shadows, it means that the sun is about to set."

had 7 family members over for board games and eats. Some of the family was in from Ontario. A bunch of years back we did a picture of all 6 cousins from the youngest generation on the couch. We redid the picture today missing only one of the cousins as he is still in Chicago until the season is over.~~

Biological shrink is age and any time temperature dependent. I guess that translates to lack of esteem and the need for more manly (we/he/her/us they/them etc) sized cars. I'm sure you have noticed over the past several car model years that the models keep the same name but are enlarged. In search of...Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Question of having the right tool for the job, I suppose.I don’t know about everywhere else, but here, unless it’s a commercial vehicle, it’s exceedingly rare to see a truck with a load in its bed, even though they are prevalent.

My truck is not loaded as often as I would like. I haven't had my goosneck hitch installed yet, so still use the RAM for hauling horses.
Edit: I am talking about the HD trucks (2500/3500/450). 90% of the 1500 size trucks are never loaded.Don't tell your problems to people. 80% of people don't care and 20% are glad you have them.

Any non commercial pickup trucks around here that I see are extensions of a small appendage. Never loaded and the beds are more cared for than the truck body. Most drivers couldn't nail a parking spot with three attempts. Horse 🐎 country so you've gotta have.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. For the record-tonight is quiet with around 3-5 " of new (today) snow on the ground. Hoping to make it to Sunday when the temperature may climb to 35*F for a bit before another week of subfreezing temps.
Amazing how much your perspective of cold and ability to address goes south with age. I'm there!

Back in '94 I bought a new Ford Ranger cab & a half with a 6 banger & stick in the floor. I had used the excuse that I needed it to haul 4x8 sheets of plywood, but I never measured the bed first. The distance between the rear wheel humps was like only 40". I think in the 8 years I had it I only carried 1 sheet and that was with it wrapped with a tarp to prevent paint damage to the bed! I must have thought I was an urban cowboy or construction dude instead of a suit and tie banker!

This is pretty funny.Sometimes my wife drives around with empty seats in her suv.
Sometimes the rack on my truck doesn't have a bike on it or anything in the bed.Sometimes the trunk in my car is empty.
But when I need those things, they're there. I don't use any of them for work.Love you bro!
