Technically it is now Saturday AM. Been doing some traveling today to deal with a non business cluster phque. Later this AM begins the great reveal. All good for me-I'm just the bad guy here. Apparently a illegal Canadian border fence that violated the treaty ending the war of 1812 has been removed . . .30 metre-long B.C. fence along stretch of U.S. border sparks international investigationhttps://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/delta-fence-us-canada-border-1.7445048

yep. it was too close. has to be 3m (10ft) away from the international border. Violated the Treaty of Ghent.
it was put up because a senior got lost along that section of Canada, wandered into the States, and was not found until he had already passed away. That section is pretty unique in that it is very wooded and two towns (Tsawwassen/Delta, BC and Port Roberts, WA line up against each other and that the location is a peninsula, isolating Point Roberts on the tip of the peninsula from the rest of the contiguous state of Washington.~~

Definitely a pedestrian night on the horizon. I'm considering my options-LEO is in the lead. Escape velocity is lagging by a lot but that could change.
Stay healthy and safe out there.
Happy Friday! 🥃

I wonder if tariff's will be placed on foreign wines being imported into the the US?
I also wonder if that tariff will apply to California wines shipped out of state.current: | Large BGE | Genesis 1000 | Genesis E330 | 22 inch Kettle | Weber Summit Kamado

Today was chilly and snowy. I did my '24 taxes and baked a loaf of bread. Not exciting, I know, sorry, but needed to get done.Somewhere on the Colorado Front Range

This Friday was not good to me. That morning I was scheduled to go to a Dr appointment. I walked out of the door at my house, put one foot on the stairs that apparently were covered in ice. My left leg slipped straight out really fast but it didn't do any damage. My right leg however, when I tried to put it down to stop the slide, folded up all the way and slammed, knee down in onto the granite step, which is bad if you have knee placements and I do. I then had to unfold it in order to reach my cell phone to call for help. When I turned it over my lower lea was facing left and my upper leg was kind pointing right, at least the bone was. I had broken my femur just above my knee replacement. I heard and felt it when it snapped. That not the worst news. When I got to the local hospital, they told me that they couldn't fix it because it was to close to the replacement. They started calling around but they couldn't find the right specialist. I waited for a long long time. I sat In the hospital for two and a half days with a badly smashed femur. Because I'm already on pain meds for my chronic pain (legally) they were very cautious with the pain meds. What they gave for the pain meds amounted to less than what I take daily. So I was sitting around with a badly broken femur, and I'm on less pain meds the I've taken on a daily basis for over a year. It was brutal, going through minor withdrawals WITH a newly broken femur, for two and a half days. Excruciating pain doesn't even begin escribe it. Mid day today they finally did the operation. The bone was pretty badly damaged. I ended up with two fairly large metal plates and around 20 screws. Still in the hospital, will be for a few more days I think. You think I'd be used to it by now but it still gets old. I think this is my nineteenth major operation. I can't even count the minor ones. Woohoo!

Holy smokes that sounds excruciating. Hopefully you heal up soon. Sorry to hear about your pain 🙏Greensboro North Carolina

Thanks John. I did the same on my left femur last year. I fall down a lot and with my bones weakened by a disease, they break easily. This break was far worse. I guess I should happy that it wasn't my head, they couldn't fix that.

Thank you all for the kind words. Time will heal this. Having to go for 2-1/2 days with a broken leg was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I've been through a lot for sure. I'll get through this too, just need time to heal.

A bit different as I am on the road and waiting around to fly back to the land of bourbon and horses. I have aged out of the "meet the plane at 30 Kft" and go.
