@ColbyLang unless you're feeding an army often, go with 5.5 cup one. To say we eat a lot of rice is an understatement, we have 5, 8 and 10 cup rice cookers, for the two of us we like to cook enough for 2-3 meals and the 5 cup is plenty. Only haul out the 8 or 10 once in a while for big cooks.
You ever seen a normal meal in the south? A lot of rice is an understatement here too lol
Haha I hear you, by lot I meant frequency not serving size. btw, you wake up early  ;)
Daylight savings only makes the wake up early so much worse. I’m now up an hour earlier than I was lol

Need to get rid of DST. We'll, other way around, need to keep it permanently. Being dark at 5 pm is not cutting it for most of us. Such an antiquated idea.

Cannot unremember this time change and bakery story that I've posted many times ... I was working at a bakery in England, this delivery bloke showed up for work two hours early the morning after changing time.

Arizona (aside from Navajo Nation) does not observe daylight savings.  It is amazing.

Chili to take to work Monday and a 2nd batch for the family.  Then hot box pies for tonight.

I wonder if you’re seeing this the way I did when I first saw this photo.

Upon first glance, I wondered what kind of monster would cut such a piece of pie from a single pie. Then, upon closet inspection, I discerned two different pies, each on a different plane.

Is this the source of your consternation?

I thought you were mad that it all didn’t fit on the cutting board.  3 pizzas, kids, mom’s, and dad’s withe the jalapeños.

Hope you enjoy that volume as much as I have, ever since ~1984 when I got into NM-style cooking.

Gotta throw a flag here. Chili don’t have rice. Nor does it have noodles (Cincinnati)

I'd award two of them. One for the cook and another for the use of it, chopped up for tacos.
