In 2020 Trump received 74.2 million votes, Biden allegedly received 81.3 million.

In 2024 Trump currently has 72.1 million and Harris currently has 67.3 million.

What happened to those 14 million "voters" for the Democrats?  And better yet, where are the shortfalls?  Swing states perhaps?

You're silly if you're raising the spectre of fraud in 2020 at this point.  Maybe it was just a mistype on your part.

What exactly is the theory of the case here - that Biden/Democrats somehow rigged the 2020 election, but couldn’t figure out how to do it again in 2024?

The delta between the two elections is just shy of 13 million votes; or simple,r another state or two worth of votes....

The fact that 100% of the vote hasn't been reported yet and a lower turnout is a far simpler explanation than some massive conspiracy.

Good Lord.  Some of you shouldn't be allowed to operate power tools.  

4% in Nevada and 23% in Arizona doesn't justify the 13 million number.

I hate that I have to waste energy doing math for you, but here we are.

The current total is 142.5 million.  This is with 94% reporting.  So at 100% reporting, we should expect a total number of votes of close to 151.6 Million.

The total in 2024 was close to 155.5 Million.  So basically a 2.5% lower turnout explains the difference.

Where did that 2.5% come from, you're surely scratching your head over right now?  Gee, I don't know - a lack of enthusiasm perhaps?  Or maybe we lost a lot of voting age citizens to something like a global pandemic over the past four years.  Or some combination of the two, plus lots of other things like shifting voting demographics.  Any number of things are vastly simpler than some kind of massive voting conspiracy.  

Let us wait a month for final numbers to come across..your numbers may track..

Yes, I think it would be smart to wait until all the numbers are in before putting our tinfoil hats on and jumping to conclusions.

The most recent estimate for the final tally of votes I saw, citing the Associated Press, is anticipating that the 2024 popular vote count total will be 700,000 votes smaller than in 2020.  This was posted yesterday.

But yeah, I know, the AP is part of the deep state too...

I share your concerns, but it's worth remembering that the last time they held all three, the only significant thing the GOP did was to pass a massive tax cut for the wealthy that added something like 7 trillion to the debt. This was admittedly not great for the country, but all things considered it could've been a lot worse.  The GOP does not actually have much of a unified agenda for anything else.  

One of the largest checks on efficiency concerns the Senate filibuster.  Most people are expecting the new GOP majority to kill it, but we'll see.  Doing so requires several Senators to effectively forfeit their own power.  There are at least a few with enough independence from Agent Orange that it might be tough to pull off.

the Total number of votes in 2020 (including the independent vote) and the current tally is further off than this..

The rules you change today to suit your needs can be the very rules that come back to bite you in the azz when the shoe is on the other foot.

I hope that they do not. I am as far right leaning as it gets but I do not believe in changing the rules. We have a system that might not be perfect but it’s definitely the best system in the world. Our Founding Fathers knew what they was doing. Leave things alone. 

The Founding Fathers did not use this form of filibuster in the Senate.  It is a relatively modern invention.  

I despise gridlock. That being said, rules and procedure that can be leveraged to halt progress are a double edged sword.  When our elected officials are as divided as they are today, it can be a useful check against extreme policy. But when used to kill reasonable legislation because from a partisan perspective we don't want the other team to be seen with a win, it hurts us all.

The problem isn't the rules, it's who our ruling class has become, and in turn, how we've followed. I truly think the tail has been wagging the dog in pursuit of accumulating power and holding on to it, more than any other time in our history.
