Thank goodness the Angels didn’t ruin another generational talent. They completely wasted Mike Trout. An absolute travesty. Glad the Dodgers stepped up and Shoei didn’t chase the dollars.

It is Friday and it is fairly quiet now. Lightly impacted by the remnants of Helene (lots of rain and wind) which will hose up any Saturday outdoor plans-but not complaining relative to the panhandle and immediately inland areas.
Sometimes a rare bonus for living in flyover country.

Nothing like that accumulation and likely rate of deposition. We were in the early stages of drought but the accumulation (to be continued) allowed for ground absorption in most areas. Actually a great Friday-in Austin for the F1 weekend. Today's seat (same for the entire weekend) across the track from the Ferrari garage. Did roll in Wednesday and enjoy brisket as a warmup.
