Didn’t think the first St Totteringham’s Day in several years would leave me as depressed and crabby as having to save that draw did.

Ahhh. Those terms are foreign to me. I’m in the service industry tho, not product development.______________________________________________I love lamp..

Had that result been against Citeh, then fair enough - but sunk Saints? That's not great.Other girls may try to take me away

Exactly. I would (still) be happy w/ a draw at City, but the last 2 1/2 games have been rough to watch. Left a bunch of points on the board; needing a result at the Ethiad isn’t great.CPFC1905 said:

Spent the morning volunteering at the food bank in Durham. Good turnout of volunteers there. We ended up packing up about 6700 pounds, which they said would translate into about 5500 meals."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

@JohnInCarolina - Great to spend the morning. I'm sure the whole family was involved and have a better appreciation for their lot in life.

The wife and our youngest daughter were there too. It definitely puts things in perspective.lousubcap said:@JohnInCarolina - Great to spend the morning. I'm sure the whole family was involved and have a better appreciation for their lot in life."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

Just did an oil change on the old gal. That will get her to 300K. I've not done my own oil change in years.Large, Medium, MiniMax, 36" Blackstone

Not only does my new car not have a dipstick, but the Owner's Manual actually will not show me where the oil drain plug is!kl8ton said:

The interval is now 10,000 miles, and with retirement I've only got 27K miles on my '18, I don't mind so much going to the dealership for an oil change (gives me a chance to look over the new models without hassle).
EDIT: and I guess I shouldn't refer to it as a "new" car anymore...

The nice thing about an oil change on a vehicle like that is the ride height. So much clearance to work comfortably underneath. Bet it takes a lot of oil.kl8ton said:

Putting my hobby to good use. Removed and decoded a lock box from a house that the owner had inadvertently set the wrong code on.

Whenever possible I use an oil-sucking machine to remove the oil. Makes it easy if you don’t have to get under the engine.______________________________________________I love lamp..

Uh yeah. I can get under it without lifting it. Oil filters on the top side. It is a paper element inside of a housing. She takes 15 quarts. Many apologies you will have to convert that into liters.GrateEggspectations said:

How do you know you got all of it? I'm fine with 90%. Is there a reservoir with quart markers on the side? I bet harbor freight has such a machine!nolaegghead said:Whenever possible I use an oil-sucking machine to remove the oil. Rejoicing as a good neighbor righted the ship since the good 'ol five letter shipping company failed to deliver once again. Filed a complaint with the five letter company earlier today as their email served up "delivered" and a nice picture of not my front door. Neighborhood email worked as the landing zone was a good block away but...Package, not perishable, has landed.I wish I could boycott the businesses that use that company. I will more strongly evaluate that option and alternative buying sources going forward.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! It has a gauge that shows the level, so you know how much it took out. The stiff plastic tube bottoms out in the oil pan and you get virtually all the oil. You can hear it gurgling when it’s empty. You betchya! Harbor Freight for mine!kl8ton said:

I think it's worth the money just to have it in a container that's easy to dispose of! No more drain pans. I have a mechanic that heats his brand new shop with a pretty sweet waste oil furnace. Another idea I have is to cut the oil with something and use it as dust control on the few gravel roads we have in the campground. I'm sure it's frowned upon by most. Since I can't even put pool water on the ground anymore.nolaegghead said:
