That said, we still don’t know the charges, but it’s pretty well accepted in the legal community this case *probably* is one of the least egregious insofar as sentencing guidelines go. It’s a big deal because it’s the first time a US president has been charged of a crime. He can’t be charged for hiding his sleeping with a porn star right after his third wife just gave birth to his fifth child. Not that that would have changed anyone’s vote….who the hell am I kidding, that’s exactly what he did. But the crime will be more pedestrian, lying on business paperwork or failing to disclose campaign expenses. No jail time if convicted on this one.

The Democratic Party isn’t a democratic socialist party either.

Micheal Cohen is prosecuted by Trump's own Justice department, convicted, did time, for falsification of business records at the direction of Person1 (AKA "Cheeto").

Now that Person1 is no longer president, even though he tried as hard as he could to manufacture votes, lie, threaten and mobilize a force of MAGAts to try to change the vote count in congress through an insurrection, he's a regular citizen and, like everyone else, needs to follow the law.

The law is why we aren't a banana republic. If crime is not punished, it will continue, and the general lack of corruption is one of the reasons the US has been successful.

If anyone in politics, including Joe and his dipshit kid, break the law, they should be held accountable.

The GOPs problem here is they're like the dog that caught that car....they don't realize demanding Joe be impeached needs evidence, not conspiracy theories. Nearly all of the Trump lawsuits against the election results were dismissed because there was no evidence. How many of those were there?
